We were offered Moderna by Red Cross last April, which will become available daw by June. But we have already ordered Sinovac so we did not get the Moderna na, thinking na baka madelay din etong Moderna by Red Cross.

Singapore to allow COVID vaccine jabs from different makers

Those who have received the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine locally as well as returning Singapore residents who have received a vaccine overseas different from the two under the national vaccination drive would be allowed to receive two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine.

Lets see the effect on them.
Since i think majority of us who took Sinovac plan to get a booster of the mRNA vaccine in 3-6 months.

^In canada they are already mixing vaccines from the first 2 dosages..my friend got Pfizer on her 1st shot and moderna on her 2nd shot

I heard that many people who had slots for the Makati Business Club allocations (Moderna c/o Razon) have already been inoculated with the Pfizer vaccine through the Makati and Muntinlupa LGUs.

So there is a chance that the Red Cross could still get several thousand more in the coming weeks. .

The next Moderna batch is due in late July / early August, with the MBC supposedly getting the lion's share of the jabs. Note that the govt will also be getting their share so we won't know until then if there will be enough to go around.

I am in the US na by that time, dun na lang ako libre pa :P Although I would feel more confident flying if I got vaccinated first. My Mom naman is hesitant to get a second round of vaccine (she isn't into mixing)

She got her second round of sinovac na end of May. I told her kasi we should get Moderna or Pfizer pero ayaw na niya kasi she is hesitant to mix.
