....what’s preposterous is, a lot of people believe them! My friends in the US say, there are a lot of ignorant & stupid Americans to believe all that crap. Here in the Philippines, antivaxxers are more toned down. Its more of the rights thing & being experimented on by the profiteering big pharmas. I asked one of them, what would happen if the pharmas waited the prescribed 5 year period? 50% will either be dead, dying or poor? He said there is a more effective & proven alternative medicines. You most likely know what he’s referring to.

Now they’re saying that since the Indian DOH started distributing the drug, cases have markedly declined. They even have graphs to prove it. As to the source of those infos, what I can say is, they’re from these life or health sites.

EMA logs more clotting cases after AstraZeneca shot, death rate lower | Reuters

A total of 316 cases of rare blood clots with low platelets have been recorded in adults who received AstraZeneca's (AZN.L) COVID-19 vaccine in the European Economic Area, an executive of the region's drug regulator said.

The figure as of Thursday includes 174 new reports since the European Medicines Agency (EMA) provided an update in April, Georgy Genov, the chief of the watchdog's safety monitoring operations, said during a briefing on Friday.

The EMA has been looking into cases of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) since March and has found a possible link to the vaccine developed with Oxford University, Vaxzevria, and to Johnson & Johnson's (JNJ.N) single-dose shot. read more

An award-winning BBC Radio Newcastle presenter died in hospital after suffering blood clots after she received the AstraZeneca vaccine, her family has said.

Lisa Shaw developed "severe" headaches a week after having the jab and fell seriously ill a few days later, relatives said in a statement.

The 44-year-old died at the Royal Victoria Infirmary on Friday afternoon (21 May) having been treated in intensive care for blood clots and bleeding.

People under 40 in the UK are being offered an alternative to the AstraZeneca vaccine following reports of extremely rare blood clots on the brain coupled with low blood platelet count.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) had said the benefits of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine continue to outweigh risks for most people. It has not proven the vaccine causes the clots but has said the link is getting firmer.

Stats seem to show that younger and young(ish) women are more susceptible doc. What I'd like to know is if there are any Asian cases. We don't seem to be getting reports of clotting in our side of the world.

Yes, the lab leak theory has been floating around but the anti Chinese sentiment attached to it doesn’t lend much credence to the story. But, they couldn’t seem to discard the theory just yet. The more they investigate, even if they train their eyes away from the Wuhan lab, it seem like it just brings them back to it. China’s secretive nature & resistance to compliance just adds to the suspicion.

Vietnam discovers new hybrid Covid variant, state media reports

“After running gene sequencing on newly detected patients, we have discovered a new variant that is a mix of India and UK ones,” Nguyen Thanh Long was quoted as saying.

“More specifically, it is an Indian variant with mutations that originally belong to the UK variant,” he said.

“The characteristic of this strain is that it spreads quickly in the air. The concentration of virus in the throat fluid increases rapidly and spreads very strongly to the surrounding environment.”

He did not specify the number of cases recorded with this new variant but said Vietnam would soon announce the discovery in the world’s map of genetic strains.

There were seven known coronavirus variants in Vietnam before Long’s announcement, according to the Ministry of Health.
