There was news before on mRNA vaccines & the reason why it is 90+% effective. First, comparing it with a traditional vax like Sinovac (Coronavac) that uses killed virus to stimulate an immune response, mRNA differs in that the code to make the spike protein is injected & it teaches the cells to make the spike protein and thus stimulates the immune system. It was touted for it’s ability to make the host a dead end host, which means just in case an exposure happens, the immunity afforded kills the virus right away so the host is inable to transmit it. Coronavac, on the other hand, will PROTECT the host from a more severe disease by the immunity (albeit low) afforded but will still vent out the virus, para bang carrier na.
Since this is a new disease, they discover new things & now, they find out the host is not dead end when infected with the Delta.
The lesson here is still self preservation. Wear masks, avoid crowds.

“Why you should get vaccinated,” wrote the Market America/Shop.com mogul. “I was fully Moderna vaccinated and was told I have COVID yesterday. I have been incredibly safe, always mask but yet still exposed and got COVID four months after my vaccine.”

For those who don’t think you should bother to get the shot if you can get the virus anyway, the 52 year old wife of JR Ridinger had these words: “If I wasn’t vaccinated I could be so much more sick. Today I am grateful for the vaccine.”

the reason why that's news is coz americans thought you can't catch the virus if you're fully vaccinated

now there's acknowledgement from the CDC that not only can you still catch the virus, you can also be a spreader

eto na nga vaxed people are demonizing the unvaxed which is dividing society (on top of the already wide conservative-liberal divide)

then the CDC made it sound like vaxed people are a problem so lalo mag aaway mga yan

    just tell 'em,
"vaccine might not completely stop virus spread, but it sure does limit its spread", and
"vaccine minimizes the need for hospitalization."

    and last,
    "no vaccine, no entry".
    heh heh.

as if it's not already hard enough to convince vax-hesistant people to get vaccinated

you now got a wider gap between the vaxed and unvaxed

now try implementing vaccine passes with that kind of thinking

I was in the Festival mall yesterday. Chatting with an employee of a shop, he said his employer will require them to get vaxxed before returning to work after the ECQ.

what with the relative shortage of vaccines,
will the employer also provide the vaccine to the employee?
    if so,
    "i'm all for it!"
    yehey!

    ayaw talaga magpa-bakuna...
government should adopt the security guard way,
    "no (vaccine) ID, no entry."

Another example of how anti-vaxxers are twisting the facts. As it is now, the Covid virus is spreading & it will get to the point that everyone will carry a load, one way or another, vaxxed or not.

    not win

if you have a large number of people who start to believe vaxed people can spread the virus like unvaxed people, then what's the point of vaccine passes?
