I think the deal is, you have to donate to an indigent
But I think it’s better she gets vax cause she might catch it from any of you people vaccinated

My Mom (and second Mom) hasn't stepped foot outside our house since March 2020 so I'm the only person who goes out (and we social distance and wear masks at home). Nobody else goes inside our house. Kaya I am in such a dilemma kasi it'll be their first time out in over a year, baka sa vaccination site pa mahawa [emoji24] I'm having anxiety over it (shortness of breath) for several days already

Parang I regret signing them up. I could never forgive myself if they catch it sa vaccination site or magka side effect

Of course this is if dumating nga yung moderna stocks by June or July.

Sinovac yata has the least side effect as compared to the other vaccines.
with an almost 2 months vaccination on various cities across the philippines parang wala pa ako narinig na nahawaan ng covid sa vaccination site.
    its safe. get her vaccinated.

if you can comfortably predict that you will never bring home the bug,
and she will never leave the house in the foreseeable nearby future...

how good are you at rapunzeling?

i am thankful, i do not have to make such decisions.

I have 2 househelps, 2 kids, a wife & my 89’er. I am the one who works, does errands & the wife goes out w/me on market days. The others are confined in the home. I can never forgive myself if any of them get sick on account of me bringing it home.

If I am in the shoes of Cathy, I will not have second thoughts in letting my elders get vaccinated. As long as they are cleared by their doctors to take the vaccine.

Most vaccination centers are very well organized, with all safety protocols strictly observed and enforced.

And tama si ale828, wala pang reports ng nagkahawaan sa mga vaccination sites.

According to an ABS-CBN report, Victors' wife Nerissa said that he died at 9 am due to COVID-19 complications at the New Era General Hospital, Quezon City. She also said funeral arrangements will be taken care of by Iglesia ni Kristo, of which he is a member.

CDC is considering revising its outdoor mask guidance. Here's what health experts say.

“We know that the virus largely spreads indoors and there's very little transmission outdoors, except in some very specific circumstances,” Dr. Ashish Jha, dean of the Brown University School of Public Health, said. “At this point in the pandemic, with more than half of Americans vaccinated, it's pretty reasonable to start thinking about peeling back outdoor mask mandates.”
They may soon start to lift mask requirements outdoors.

One dose of the AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine provides protection against COVID-19 that lasts at least 1 weeks, study finds

There was a 65% reduction in COVID-19 infections overall after one dose of either the AstraZeneca-Oxford University or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, study authors from Oxford said in a press briefing Thursday. Protection from a single dose probably holds up for at least 10 weeks, based on measurements of antibody levels.

"But people must get their second dose," she added.
yung mga na inject na ng 1 dose ng Astra, mukhang mataas na rin yung effectiveness.
