May darating na diba 198k? Pero nagtataka ako sa Makati all day naman vaccine, aggressive naman sila pero last count nila wala pa 50k since they started in March so I guess swerte talaga those who delayed vaccination, unless lahat sila nag aantay Pfizer

I don't know kung pwede na ko magpa shot ulit kasi balak ko na umalis August after fat lab's birthday hehe

Risky proposition ofr HCW especially nurses and doctors to hold out. Kahit ayaw ko ng Sinovac, 69% (????) efficacy is still better than none.

Gusto ko nga din mag-hold out kaso sa baga ng procurement ng gobyerno, baka siyam siyam abutin bago dumating ang non-commie vaccine.

It’s because the FDA is planning to replenish the country’s Remdesivir supplies to the tune of P1 billion but, the drug was found ineffective for covid by WHO.

Silver lining dyan is mahinto corrupt DOH officials sa purchase ng ineffective na remdesivir.
Lumabas na ang results ng remdesivir clinical trial worldwide kasama tayo called Solidarity trial. Doesnt work.

Both sides naman kasi palpak ang stand.

The Indian Ocean archipelago, which has a population of about 98,000, is dependent on tourism for much of its foreign exchange and acted quickly to begin vaccinations in January using a donation of Chinese vaccines from the United Arab Emirates. It has procured other vaccines since.

To date 62.2% of its eligible population is fully vaccinated, according to the Bloomberg Vaccine Tracker. That compares with 55.9% for Israel, the next most vaccinated nation.

So even if we vaccinate 60% of the world's population e this will never end. How long will be living in a world of masks and social distancing.

Pati talaga sa household dapat social distancing pala

I don’t practice soc dist in the house pero no beso-beso for my kids (I really miss it). I should be extra careful since I’m the one who goes out.

One way to stop the mutation is to distribute the vaccine evenly and depending on the need of the country. Help especially the country where mutations would occur because of large numbers of infections.

Wala eh, mga developed country sinasarili ang mga vaccine eh.

i am not sure which way is better,
to concentrate and saturate on specific areas first,
or to evenly distribute the vaccine throughout the country, pro rata population-wise...

COVID-19 cases and deaths fall further in the UK, vaccinations rise | Inquirer News

"The data showed that 35.37 million people, or 67.2% of the UK adult population, have now received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, 17.67 million, or 33.5% of adults, have received the recommended two doses.

Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 127,605 people have died in the United Kingdom within 28 days of testing positive for COVID-19.

The country experienced a devastating second wave that peaked in late January, but numbers of new infections, hospitalizations, and deaths have plummeted since then."

    Developments in UK are encouraging.
