Sobrang bagal kasi talaga gumalaw ng duterte govt.

OCTA was sounding the alarm a long time ago even before we got to 10k cases per day but siyempre sila and beat and the brightest kaya hinde nakikinig. At the end of the day ganun din gagawin lockdown but it's too late, nag lockdown dapat sila earlier hinde kung marami na cases st overwhelmed na hospitals.

I have a sis in law in Dubai. Iba sila in handling Covid. When she felt bad (fever, diarrhea, cheat pain, shortness of breath & coughing) the health ministey went over, swabbed her then gave her antibiotics, pain relievers & instructions. After 10 days, return to work even if she still had residual symptoms! She said if you take a longer sick leave, you might end up loosing your job.

I understand pero what choice do we have? Wala rin economy so to speak kung nagkakasakit na lahat.

We have to learn to play with the virus. Kung pagdami pa lang stop everything para hinde na ma overwhelmed then open na ulit, cycle lang unless meron na tayo vaccines eh kaso wala pa eh.

Stop and go but stop it when hinde pa madami para hinde matagal mag stop

They have no funds for ayuda anymore. I think they should aggressively do testing & vaccination.

Nakita ko post ni James Deakin grabe traffic sa QC because of the checkpoint. Buti na lang talaga pwede i delay shots ni fat lab, though samin yung sinisita lang daw yung walang resident car sticker, e baka sa Taguig naman ako harangin Maganda sana pumunta sa clinic today, for sure walang tao. Try ko kaya bukas hehe

Impossible na mapababa nila ng 1k but at least yun manageable like nun nangyari after ng lock down natin last year.

    Masyado lang talaga mabagal gumalaw.

New variants of the Covid virus detected last february. much more infectious.
Ayaw pa aminin ng gov't that this is the cause of the 2nd wave surge.

    lagi sinisisi movement ng tao

sinasabi ko january palang may mga bagong variant mas nakakahawa

kahit walang change in behavior ang tao mas mabilis kumalat ang new variants

Palpak talaga pandemic response ng government natin:
    1. No contact tracing kahit may czar - Magalong even wanted to quit
    2. No strict quarantine for covid positives - pinabayaan lang sa bahay at gumala
    3. Walang naninita sa mga pasaway sa palengke, streets. Hindi mo na nga nakita mga pulis umiikot.
    4. Delayed procurement ng vaccines!!

Ok lang buksan ang economy pero dapat may system in place to isolate the positives agad.
Eh mga nagpositive sa pcr tests, hindi alam kung ano next gagawin.

Walang systematic and centralized response from the national government.

If the high covid cases is cause by newer variants then government should have an addedum to the health protocols in place such as limiting dining and transpo to 30% from the previous 50% etc... we need a much strict protocols to combat this new variant.
