Pretty sure naka mask naman mga enforcers manning the checkpoints. Lumabas ka between 12pm to 2pm, hottest time of the day.

Cathy, I wonder what you would do if you need to go out and work to put food on the table like most others?

Marami kasi who don't wear their masks correctly. Saka akala ko if both wear masks 90%+ protection na, but I think the variant now mas nakakahawa? I support my second Mom and labs. Fat lab's expenses got even higher since she got sick in December. I am spending a lot on her dog food alone (hepatic diet) Wala pa yung mga supplements, maintenance, check ups, fruits/veggies and toys. Now she needs these pentosan shots for arthritis (isa pang mahal) and when she got hospitalized in Dec I paid 6 digits for that. Kaya I need to find a job na rin, although my Mom said I should work next year na - akala namin by that time normal na mundo Pero pag mag work ako sa office namin 100% work from home pa naman.

Akala ko hindi na kailangan ma paranoid sa surfaces, tapos I received this from my cousin. Natatakot na naman ako humawak ng packages

Lumabas ako ngayon nagdiine-in alfresco pero siimple meal lang with friends.

Sabi ng tindahan = Last day na ng dine-in.

baka naman he touched his eyes or scratched his nose after touching the plastic divider. mahirap mag speculate if they don't say the whole story.
pero its best to always spray your hands with alcohol after touching objects that are prone to multiple contacts like door handles, plastic dividers, shopping cart handles, etc.
Golf cart plastic dividers are always out in the sun, patay yung virus dun pag na expose sa UV sunlight.

kay jonas ako kumakain kasi wala gaano tao, mas malinis at yung beef puro laman Kay d original pares(retiro) eh mataba malitid.

PEro whether d'original pares or jonas eh nothing to rave. Ewan ko ba bakit ang dami pumipila kay retiro branch maybe its the crowd kaya madami bumabaik na happy sila madami tao or its the garlic sa rice.

KAsi di ba sa english ang pares is beef stew. Ang masarap na beef stew eh koreans. Way back 1980s yung kimchi na fast food store wala pa korean craze ang sarap ng beef stew doon.

Is there a study on where people usually got covid virus? With more than 120M cases worldwide those who got covid do they usually eat at restaurant? or are they just stubborn dont like to wear mask? Or maybe they just stay home but still got covid.

Ayan na naman yung pasa-pasa message. Wala pa akong nakikitang establishment nor hospitals. Na nagtatanggal ng dividers.

And sino naman tanga ang hahawak sa divider and for what purpose mo hawakan ang divider unless pupunasan mo. Kalokohan yang message na yan. It’s only purpose is to sow fear.

It’s hard to pinpoint where one got the virus.

Garbage forwarded messages designed to sow FUD.

Unless someone infected with no mask sneezed on the plastic sheet, and you touch your face before sanitizing hands after touching the plastic it should be ok.

Coronavirus on Surfaces: What's the Real Risk?
So can you really catch COVID-19 from touching a cereal box you bought at the supermarket, or a package delivered to your door?

It is theoretically possible, but highly unlikely, says Dean Blumberg, MD, chief of pediatric infectious diseases at UC Davis Children's Hospital. "You'd need a unique sequence of events," he says. First, someone would need to get a large enough amount of the virus on a surface to cause infection. Then, the virus would need to survive long enough for you to touch that surface and get some on your hands. Then, without washing your hands, you'd have to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth.

I stopped being obsessive about sanitizing. I used to soap all fruits and vegetables but now (to the relief of my family) I just air it out for 24 hours. Mabilis daw kasi mabulok pag binabasa at sinasabon yung fruits and veggies. That saved me at least 1 hr every delivery. Even my shopee and lazada deliveries, I don't alcohol anymore. I just wash my hands AFTER opening it. Yung item sa loob na lang ina alcohol ko and then I don't air it out anymore.

I still don't believe in face shields kasi feeling ko mas mavi virus ako with that because it is so uncomfortable I tend to adjust it parati

BUT since the new variant mas nakakahawa, parang gusto ko na naman ibalik old practice ko. Kulubot na nga kamay ko kakasabon

Baka kasi may umubo nga tapos nag land sa plastic tapos nasagi ng doctor ng kamay or arm tapos nahawakan niya nose or eyes or mouth niya (super malas)

Serious questions you got there. There are a lot of things we know & don’t. But one thing for sure, the viral load in the place plays a big factor in the transmission/infection. Which is why, inspite of the PPEs, disinfection protocols & protection afforded HCW, the infection % is still very high. In congested neighborhoods where population densities are very high & ventilation is not so good, Covid infection is also very high. Q facilities don’t have a/cs & have good ventilation because it is known that a/c environments are known to increase the viral load in that place. Imagine an infected spewing out virus laden breath everytime he exhales. Other factors like sanitizing & avoiding touching your mouth, eyes & nose are known to decrease transmission. But why, inspite of close proximity to a positive, one gets it & the others don’t, still remains baffling.

There has been studies in other countries and it mostly all points to an infected person whether symptomatic or asymptomatic.
Here in our country majority of infections happens with our own Family, Housemates, coworker, friends. its in situation with these people that almost all of us start lowering their guard and feeling safe. That is when lapses happen and a chance for the virus to infect us.

If we had proper contract tracing we can mostly identify where we got the virus from or situations where we are most susceptible to a virus infection.

At least use something to protect your eyes if won't use face shield. Like a big eyeglass/sunglass.
