This is the same reason why i soaked with soap all groceries i bought outside... we don’t know who touches it first the moment you put it in your cart...

Even the bagger or cashier in a grocery i don’t believe they are safe... dumadaan sa kanila yung mga groceries plus all the money they take from customers...

The biggest risk is indoor spaces with no ventilation and a lot of people inside. Second is getting close to other people even if you are outside. Third is surfaces.

Just because the risk is much lower with surfaces doesn't mean you can abandon taking precautions. Labs have already confirmed getting replication competent sars cov 2 on surfaces.

In my circle the biggest mistake people make is asymptomatics coming home to high risk individuals. If possible best isolate the high risk people from the people who can still go outside.

Does that mean I have to isolate from my family? I can't leave the seniors here naman since I do everything (accept deliveries and go to mercury). Honestly, I should be in the US already pero di ko sila maiwan. Baka mapa suicide na ko nyan if even at home I have to stay away from my family. I have not hugged any of them since last year. Mommy's birthday last year she said I could hug her and I said better not to be safe. Ang sakit sa puso. It will be the same again this year...

You think I should go back to soaping all the fruits and veggies muna? I still alcohol all the groceries but not to liberal na with spraying

Packages and groceries if we need them asap we wash them or use UV light (for non food items). If not we just leave them outside for 2-3 days.

No problem naman receiving packages as long as you keep distance and the courier is masked the entire time.

In my case napagod na ako kakarequest sa couriers na isuot ng maayos yung mask so I just put a small table outside the gate so they can just place the items there.

Since you still go out I'd stay a good distance away from the seniors and wear a mask when I have to interact with them.

    Hirap pero ganyan talaga.

Tsikoteers don't give me flack anymore for being paranoid dahil mas matindi pa sakin si Wh1stl3r I don't even have a UV device e

I'm not kidding when I say na if I have to wear a mask at home I might get suicidal (and I do have a history in my teens) One year na kong nakakulong sa bahay except for my monthly mercury run. One year no haircut, no prophylaxis, no check up, no waxing, no mani pedi etc. I don't even feel human anymore e mga basic maintenance d ko na magawa. Yung sa fat lab ko no choice ako, I have to bring her personally sa vet dahil nangangagat sa iba Anyway after this back to once a month na ko

I also don't interact with shopee and lazada. May lagayan ako sa may gate where they leave the packages. Yung iba lang I have to receive like grocery kasi madami yun e but I wear mask

I don't think I'm paranoid at all hehe. For me just because the risk is low it doesn't mean you shouldn't address it anymore.

Mas matindi "protocols" mo kasi sakin e friends ko nga pinagtatawanan na ko for soaping everything. Even my family thinks I'm ridiculous, kaya lately I just air it out na lang overnight pero balik ko na yung pag soap ulit

Does that mean you don't go out also or if you do you wear a mask at home? I assume you have kids below 15 so they are also susceptible like seniors?

I guess I am lucky, because I live life like it was before, of course following restrictions but I wasn't really following preventive measures, I touch my face even when doing grocery, I don't bring alcohol, the disinfectant one, I hire any worker without health clearance to continue work and on our house, I don't care if they bring down their masks while I talk to them and neither do I. We don't disinfect package deliveries.

We were washing produce already even before the pandemic to get rid of pesticide and fertilizer residue. We just use mild soap from Messy Bessy or Tiny Buds.

The other groceries we don't wash anymore. We just leave them in the garage for a couple of days.

Meat gets cooked naman so no need na rin.

Yes I have young kids. I'm lucky that I can supervise my guys remotely so there's not much need for me at the office.

We also wash but that's before cooking. But since covid I have to soap as soon as it's delivered (my assumption is all surfaces have virus) then it's washed again before cooking

You mean you have not stepped out of your house since March 2020? [emoji33]

For meat i washed it with water sa sink... pero afterwards, i clean the sink with soap and then spray lysol, actuallyvthe whole kitchen where i usually put my groceries before rinsing it with water and organic liquid detergent...

    My Covid-19 protocol sa groceries...

In addition to yung damit na ginamit sa grocery should stay outside until its laundry time...

    papi,

taga true qc ka din ba? Pwede tayo yaya sisterhood. Ayan may kapareha ako hindi alcohol, nagpapa-pasok ng magtatrabaho sa bahay. Pero pag nagrocery hinid ko talaga hinahawak face ko kasi handwash muna.

Sa bahay namin bukas lagi bintana as in matataas bintana dito 5feet.

Eventually meron dapat pag-aaral na meron tao hinid tatablan ng covid just like may tao hindi tinatablan ng hiv.

    HIV

There are some people who, despite frequent exposure to HIV, still don't contract the virus. According to The Tech, this is due to a mutation in the CCR5 gene called CCR5-delta 32.

Normally, HIV infects the body by grabbing onto the CD4 receptor and its co-receptor CCR5 and using them to enter the cell, and then reprogram it to spread throughout a body. However, in individuals with this mutation, the virus is unable to enter cells. The CCR5-delta32 mutation results in a smaller protein that isn't on the outside of the cell anymore. Most forms of HIV cannot infect cells if there is no CCR5 on the surface. People with two copies of the CCR5-delta32 gene (inherited from both parents) are virtually immune to HIV infection. This occurs in about 1 percent of Caucasian people.

I have this portable lamp-type UVC ionizer from Landlite, remote controlled with timer. Used to disinfect the office, cars, rooms. Amoy kidlat.

Covid just like Tuberculosis is in the air. Always wear mask and avoid touching things from the outside. Kung nakikita nyo lang how these couriers handle your packages, naka kalat sa lansangan. Maligo kaagad kung galing sa labas.
