CPU and graphics chipset seems rather slow when compared against other netbooks.
The device overall performs as intended and battery gets me to around 3-4hrs, depending on usage. Ok naman sya pero I was wondering if there is an available 6-cell battery for this model here sa Pinas.
BTW, getting 3-4 hours from a 3 cell battery sounds great. What is the rated capacity of the battery?
Also, I noticed that this model came out here with only Vista pre-installed. There was this stupid salesperson at VMall in Greenhills telling me that WinXP is obsolete and that it's no longer being sold? Duh? Nakabili nga ako eh! Bwiset!
Anyways, what do you guys think? GH?

got the eeepc 1005hab a few months ago. it was an upgrade to my 701 and a replacement to a laptop sent to our family back home.
eeepc 701 7 in., eeepc 1005hab 10 in., double bastard ale 10.2%
works great, keyboard near full size, and the screen very sharp and sized right esp from 7 in to 10 in. for me, anything bigger and heavier should be a laptop. i picked this model since it was in stock, few options such as the 1.3 camera and media slots, all for $299. the only thing im not much into is the glossy surface, just prone to marks and scratches.Last edited by MXFX; August 15th, 2009 at 02:45 PM.

yup best buy.
jun, i like the glossy styling overall, though i prefer the 701 or the brushed styling on other net/notebooks. glossy not good for pasmados like me.
p.s. the ale on the pic is 10.5%.
