Pano tutulong ang China if the sea between China and the Phils is surrounded by American ships.

    5 to 10 bases:

The US will invest $66.5 million to help the Philippines upgrade and transform three military bases and the construction of the project will start in 2023 according to the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) between the US and the Philippines, said the Department of National Defense of the Philippines recently. Lieutenant General Bartolome Bacarro, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), said that the US has proposed to build five additional military infrastructures in the Philippines that can be used by the US military, and relevant negotiations are ongoing.

The US and the Philippines signed the EDCA in 2014. According to the agreement, the US armed forces are allowed to station troops in the Philippines in rotation, use military bases in the Philippines, renovate or expand base facilities, and place weapons and equipment in the Philippines. At present, the Philippines has opened five military bases to the US, including Bautista Air Base, Basa Air Base in the south of Manila, Fort Magsaysay in the north of Manila, Lumbia Air Base in Mindanao and Mactan-Benito Ebuen air base in Cebu. The US proposes to build another five new military infrastructures, which will be located in Kalayaan, Palawan, Zambales and Isabela provinces.

IMO, dapat maging neutral tayo. We are not self sufficient in everything, we are not even capable of defending our country on our own. We will be subject to attacks if we let the US use our country as their base.

    from the think tank Rand

Avoiding a Long War: U.S. Policy and the Trajectory of the Russia-Ukraine Conflict | RAND

they don't want the US engaged in a long war in Ukraine

    coz mas importante ang China

first, although seeing Ukraine get all its territory back is ideal, Rand thinks that outcome is unlikely

Ukraine is taking up time and resources

the longer the war in ukraine, the more dependent on china russia becomes

that's not in the best interest of the US

Tsaka Brits mas gusto ni BBM kesa americans. He love Oxford and The Beatles kaya.

Tsaka we cannot remain neutral, apektado tayo eh sabi niyo nga diba. Hello Panatag/Scarborough shoal?!

Uls, serious question and pls dont get offended.

I can understand your anti-US stand but Im just wondering how it affects you if your mom is in the US living the american dream. Im trying to compare myself being a dilawan but my family are all dds/bbm supporters.

Iba naman kasi USSR sa Russia.

Break-up of USSR was logical and easily done sinc ethey don't really have common ancestry. Russia is russian. As long as it remains a state, it doesn't matter what the west thinks or envision. Russians will dictate what will happen to Russia.

*Uls: So yeah, keep the Tom Clancy type book in the works.

^the west motivation for breaking up russia is russian mineral resources, gas and oil in particular..the west want those for free just like what they do in syria..steal syrian oil

nato expansion will be pushed back with fire
