^that was the time when atomic weapons was not yet in existence, time has changed with both US and russia possessing nuclear weapons

US interest in this conflict is to generate demand for their weapons and not to get destroyed by russian nuclear weapons

And to hell with west and their allies, tagal tagal na yun puro salita ni Putin about using nuclear weapon.

I thought the west and the rest of Europe can't touch him? And ano kinakatokot niya gumamit ng nuclear to pulverize Ukraine. Takot naman buong mundo sa kanya. He's Putin the alpha of alphas.

Russia is completely inept. They could have finished off Ukraine even up to the first month of the war when the west was not even supplying them yet. Excuses lang yan na "Russia is fighting NATO kasi".

this conflict will only stop once european nations cease supplying weapons to ukraine coz they have already depleted their own weapons stock

Tsaka yung vaunted military war machine, useless yan kung nag-aalisan mga "sundalo" dapat. hehe

Nung WW2 people line up to sign (majority), sa Russia majority tanungin mo for sure ayaw sumali sa giyera.

That's one aspect that Putin and his brighy and brightest and not incompetent military was able to see.

Although the US had been assisting Ukraine in terms of training and some small arms supplies, since 2014 when Russia annexed Donbas, Crimea and Luhansk and installed puppet regimes, even the US had doubts whether Ukraine will survive the initial assault in February. Why would Biden even offer Zelensky asylum 3 days into the invasion?

It reminds me of the Battle of Shanghai when the Nationalists committed all their best German-trained units. Before that the west refused aid to China due to its perceived weakness against Japan. Though China lost the battle, the west took notice and began sending aid.

that may be the case ukraine has been ably aided by the west, hence this war will go on for as long as flow of weapons from the west continue

the supply of weapons will give ukraine some semblance of success in its counter-offensive against russia but just like in the battle of the bulge when the german forces run out of fuel the last successful counter offensive of the 3rd reich ended in retreat

europe is running out of fuel. its no longer conducive to operate business in europe. there will be less tax money to finance NATO

    so whos inept now?

Eh Bakit hinde na lang itigil ni Putin yun war? In the first place if he didn’t made a move eh di walang war ngayon.

For me it’s as simple as that.

for you its that simple but not for the major players in this conflict

the west will learn their lesson that russia isnt weak

look at what is happening to europe..they are the biggest loser in this conflict

the biggest winner is the US

russia lost equipments but they have shown to the west that they are no pushover..NO PAIN NO GAIN

the US doesn't care about ukraine

what's important to the US is to maintain its king of the world status

if it has to take setting the world on fire they'll do it

the US right now is run by psychopaths

i know the US gesture to supply ukraine with weapons is nothing but to douse fuel on fire..its not meant to help ukraine but to generate demand for US goods like weapons and gas

they are maintaining their hegemonic status thru this conflict because arms manufacturing line will open to generate jobs for americans to supply europe with weapons as europe depletes their weapons stockpile.

its expensive to manufacture anything in europe now due to shortage in fuel. they will import their weapons requirements from the US instead

america will not set the world on fire..theres no point in self-destruction thru nuclear exchange

america will set a certain portion of the world on fire to generate demand for US manufactured weapons..their prime commodity
