France Bombs ISIS Headquarters In Syria

PARIS/BRUSSELS, Nov 15 (Reuters) - French warplanes pounded Islamic State positions in Syria on Sunday as police in Europe widened their investigations into coordinated attacks in Paris that killed more than 130 people.
Akala mo naka puntos kana no.

Number of those terrorist are member of sleeper cell activated by the asset from Syria. Oo fake ang Syrian passport nun, matagal nang known na karamihan ng mga lalakeng refugees from Syria ay fake ang passport.

Poland is doing the right thing in requesting for a security guarantee before they take in a number of refugees.

The impression(dunno kung tama) i got from the article sir JM linked to is that ISIS is some sort of doomsday cult...but i have my doubts.

My POV is that it's masquerading as such, and the real purpose is to grab territory/resources in the ME.

anything is possible bro, but wood's column was written in march 2015. and, if you look at it so closely, it seems that the western world has followed his counsel. in fact, days before the paris carnage, US and great britain bombed raqqa, the capital of isis. i checked on wood also. he graduated from harvard and teaches political science at yale. he's no lightweight. and the atlantic where his column saw print had founding sponsors with the likes of intellectual greats as Oliver Wendel Holmes, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
what can you say of the exodus of foreigners, mostly non-muslims, going to syria and fight isis cause with cultists vigor?

Paris Bomber Sneaked in With Refugees, Officials Say

The route from Turkey across the Mediterranean and into Europe has been a perilous one for thousands of refugees fleeing the violence in Syria, but European authorities say one terrorist hidden among the innocents on a packed Greece-bound boat in early October was determined to bring the bloodshed with him -- all the way to Paris.
    Ayan malinaw na.

The refugees taken by each country are directed and confined and confined to a compound or concentration camp, they cant just ask asylum and roam Europe like it's a vacation.

It's in the news. Those that were taken in Germany (almost a million of them) were moved to an undisclosed location.

Europe is not stupid like some of you think, the refugees are in a controlled movement. Even in the Philippines, when we took Jew refugees, they were placed in an island,

Suspension of flights to France, not Schengen visa - French embassy in Manila

Suspension of flights to France, not Schengen visa - French embassy in Manila

MANILA - France has not temporarily suspended its participation in the Schengen agreement, the French embassy in Manila said Sunday.

Camille Conde of the French embassy said the information from a website on Schengen visa is false.

However, she said flights to France have temporarily been suspended.

Asked about the information being shared over Facebook, Conde said: “Not true! No announcement like that from the French government. Only security check at the borders, but Schengen visa holders can still enter.”

She said even the European Union has not made such announcements.

“We'll be releasing visas this week as scheduled,” Conde said.

Paris is hosting the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Paris from November 30 to December 11, and some 40,000 people were expected to participate prior to the attacks.

The Schengen zone has currently 26 members, including most EU members and four non-EU members. The agreement allows citizens of Schengen countries to access any country without the need to go through border controls and visitors to travel across the Schengen zone with one common visa that applies throughout the entire Schengen zone.

These refugees marched into the borders like its their own. Anong undisclosed location?

Not stupid?!? The damn refugee walked into their country and activated the sleeper cell.

Iraq warned of attacks before Paris assault

Iraqi intelligence sent a dispatch saying the group's leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, had ordered an attack on coalition countries fighting against them in Iraq and Syria, as well as on Iran and Russia, through bombings or other attacks in the days ahead.

people here have intellectual discussions until you came. and don't belittle media reports because most of the time that is where Intel info comes from. I'm sure you don't know that there is such a thing as intelligence cycle, and all raw infos are processed into this cycle.
have you ever wonder why all opcent have arrays of televisions tuned in to different channels?
I'm sure you don't know that because you haven't in in one.
    now, that is angst

re foreigners joining ISIS: it's possible that most "fanatics" really are former soldiers, mercenaries, criminals, whose only trade is war, and they don't care who their employer is. Although of course, there are the angry, misguided, disenfranchised, who(quoting Alfred PennyWorth) just want to see the world burn.

Re Greeks: um, Greece is still around. Their victory in Plataea basically curbed Persian expansion into Greece(some say even to the West)

i do recall seeing photos/videos of Syrian refugees walking between EU countries. In fact one country(Austria ata) closed its borders, so refugees has to walk to another country...so i have doubts as to whether they're contained or not.

Now, Australia is a different matter. They have a hard line against immigrants early on, nilalagay talaga sa camps and burned refugee boats/ships(after removing the refugees of course).

Tingin mo one day, what if 1 million Mexicans group together and decide to penetrate the US border with an alibi that they cant stand the drug war

What will America do? Will they just give in and accept and accept.

Those Apaches and gunships inear borders have a strategic siginificance. Alam nila kung san pwede pumasok geographically ang 1M refugees ng sabsy-sabay.

Sa Europe ganun din, Germany had to go up to belgium 2 times in world I and World 2 just to get to France.

Hindi ganun kadali i-penetrate ang European cities, Allies had to bomb the Benedictine Monastery to get to Northern Italy, pero stalemate din, and these are people with tanks snc weapons.

Tapos pag refugee na dala bag lang and katawan katawan, ang dali makapasok sa borders.

    ----

Even in AustroHungary, the first line of defense. The front line of Europe for so many hundreds of years, agsinst the Muslim threat. Hindi basta basta na-peneetrate ng Ottoman armies.

There's an attack in Garissa University in Kenya. 147 dead. Attackers are from Al Shabaab group. Winter campaign is going to be a blood bath.

One would think IS is coordinating with Al Qaeda from the way they have been coordinating with Al Nusra in Syria and Lybia.

Hmmm... from my observation, most Al Qaeda militants just go along with IS when they have similar operations in a region. Both troops in Syria amd Libya are pretty much homogenized notably when you see their convoys of Hilux, Humvee and M1 tanks lined up. In this case northern and eastern africa. it wasn't long ago that Sinai plane incident happened. there aren't permanent enemies in the land of my enemy's enemy. hehe

ISIS is different. it doesn't believe in the arabian proverb that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. however, it proselytizes the dogma that anybody who doesn't toe the line of "prophetic methodology" is an apostate, and apostasy is punishable by death.
