I don't think it's needed to be honest. They already have Iran's most battle hardened fighters on the ground to do the grunt work. Spetsnaz are there for force recon missions.

The big elephant in the room is that ISIS and Al Qaeda have fled to turkey.

I'm kind of baffled by the strategy against ISIS by the West. I don't think round the clock bombing will work since these guys are mostly ex military from Iraq and Syria and they know how to weather if not avoid being bombed from the air. For some reason, no one wants their soldiers on the ground doing the fighting. Maybe to allow the locals to do the fighting? Good luck with using ill-trained farmers or goat herders to fight battle-hardened ex soldiers.

Yun na nga ang problema sir, you can't help but arm and train people/groups that will potentially become your headaches in the future.

Perhaps the only good thing is that ISIS poses a very real danger in the ME, so while there is hatred against the US/West, they're united(for now) by a common threat.

To date, fewer than 100 Syrians reportedly have entered training as part of a mission Obama has sought $500 million for over three years.
Do not forget the lintel on Al-Qaeda and ISIS have infiltrated the Syrian rebel, now he's pouring money and arms to them. That's how stupid this community organizer is. He'll do anything to kick Asad.

Let's not forget the almost $1B spent in bombing ISIS.

He's the root cause of the destabilization of ME.

"they have a strategy...it's all in the f*cking book, the only book they ever read...it's been that way since the 7th century"

"200,000 US troops on the ground indefinitely to provide security and support for an equal number of doctors and elementary school teachers...or pound Raqqa into a parking lot..."

"France Is At War": Hollande Unleashes 2nd Day Of ISIS Strikes, Mobilizes 115,000, Moves To Change Constitution | Zero Hedge

this is probably the worst possible "solution" they could come up with if they're doing their own version of US' patriot act. they still haven't addressed actually arming civilians so they can defend themselves and closing down their border. I can still foresee them still being the terror capital of europe if this goes on. lol.

sirs, di ba Putin was initially accused of attacking forces that were against Assad, and not exactly ISIS? If so, then why did ISIS bring down the Russian airliner? Is it then proof that the rebels are in league with ISIS?

accusation was only propaganda. they did hit isis facilities and convoy. the only reason they couldn't bomb as much as they want is because their planes are "out of range" from the airbase to the northern part. well, they could overextend but it leaves them too vulnerable.
