he might personally be lax in security but he is surrounded by garcia (NSA) and gazmin (DND) who had stellar careers in the military. and he'd be damned if he didn't learn from experience. apec isn't a joke.

Several rebel/terrorist/criminal groups operating in PH have already pledged alliance with ISIS: BIFF, Abu Sayyaf, Jemaah Islamiyah.

i hope i'm wrong about this: My impression is that Europeans aren't really that concerned about being politically correct. And while Europe exudes a kind of sophistication, you dig a little deeper in their history and you see a lot of race related violence, ethnic cleansing, lynching, etc. So not all European countries may be as...understanding in dealing with what some may perceive as a "Muslim" problem.

actually, most europeans are into political correctness. nazism and xenophobia are still fresh in their minds and they don't want to be labelled as such.

east europeans might apply to people who arent into political correctness. for exame, slovakia only accepts christian refugees.

some would go as far to petition banning oktoberfest because it is claimed to be offensive. swedish flag is banned in swedish school. german girls are now clothed all over. list goes on.

French Mayor Names One of Paris Attackers, Le Monde Says

One of the suicide bombers in the attack at the Paris concert hall has been identified as Ismael Omar Mostefai, Le Monde reported, citing Chartres Mayor Jean-Pierre Gorges, whos also a member of parliament, and another unidentified person.
Investigators found a piece of finger severed by the explosion, which led them to identify Mostefai, who was born in a Paris suburb and probably spent a few months in Syria during 2013 and 2014, Le Monde reported. Mostefai is the only suicide bomber that has been identified so far, according to the newspaper.
Mostefai was born Nov. 21, 1985, and grew up in Courcouronnes, in the southern suburbs of Paris, and was known to police, according to Le Monde. He had lived in Chartres, southwest of Paris, for the last few years, the report said. One of his brothers owns a shisha bar in Chartres, the newspaper reported.

Well, ISIS already claimed responsibility, so most likely the bomber is ISIS affiliated, regardless if he's Syrian/Algerian/etc.

Media reports the guy came in from Greece. Initially nagduda din ako why he brought a passport, but if it's a fake passport then it wouldn't matter. And they would need to keep it in their person in case police ask them for it.

Isis claims responsibility for everything. Keyword is claim - still need to be verified with proof

France Bombs ISIS Headquarters In Syria

PARIS/BRUSSELS, Nov 15 (Reuters) - French warplanes pounded Islamic State positions in Syria on Sunday as police in Europe widened their investigations into coordinated attacks in Paris that killed more than 130 people.
Akala mo naka puntos kana no.

Number of those terrorist are member of sleeper cell activated by the asset from Syria. Oo fake ang Syrian passport nun, matagal nang known na karamihan ng mga lalakeng refugees from Syria ay fake ang passport.

Poland is doing the right thing in requesting for a security guarantee before they take in a number of refugees.

The refugees taken by each country are directed and confined and confined to a compound or concentration camp, they cant just ask asylum and roam Europe like it's a vacation.

It's in the news. Those that were taken in Germany (almost a million of them) were moved to an undisclosed location.

Europe is not stupid like some of you think, the refugees are in a controlled movement. Even in the Philippines, when we took Jew refugees, they were placed in an island,

Suspension of flights to France, not Schengen visa - French embassy in Manila

Suspension of flights to France, not Schengen visa - French embassy in Manila
    By: InterAksyon.com
    November 15, 2015 10:45 AM

MANILA - France has not temporarily suspended its participation in the Schengen agreement, the French embassy in Manila said Sunday.

Camille Conde of the French embassy said the information from a website on Schengen visa is false.

However, she said flights to France have temporarily been suspended.

Asked about the information being shared over Facebook, Conde said: “Not true! No announcement like that from the French government. Only security check at the borders, but Schengen visa holders can still enter.”

She said even the European Union has not made such announcements.

“We'll be releasing visas this week as scheduled,” Conde said.

Paris is hosting the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Paris from November 30 to December 11, and some 40,000 people were expected to participate prior to the attacks.

The Schengen zone has currently 26 members, including most EU members and four non-EU members. The agreement allows citizens of Schengen countries to access any country without the need to go through border controls and visitors to travel across the Schengen zone with one common visa that applies throughout the entire Schengen zone.

re foreigners joining ISIS: it's possible that most "fanatics" really are former soldiers, mercenaries, criminals, whose only trade is war, and they don't care who their employer is. Although of course, there are the angry, misguided, disenfranchised, who(quoting Alfred PennyWorth) just want to see the world burn.

Re Greeks: um, Greece is still around. Their victory in Plataea basically curbed Persian expansion into Greece(some say even to the West)

i do recall seeing photos/videos of Syrian refugees walking between EU countries. In fact one country(Austria ata) closed its borders, so refugees has to walk to another country...so i have doubts as to whether they're contained or not.

Now, Australia is a different matter. They have a hard line against immigrants early on, nilalagay talaga sa camps and burned refugee boats/ships(after removing the refugees of course).

These refugees marched into the borders like its their own. Anong undisclosed location?

Not stupid?!? The damn refugee walked into their country and activated the sleeper cell.

Iraq warned of attacks before Paris assault

Iraqi intelligence sent a dispatch saying the group's leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, had ordered an attack on coalition countries fighting against them in Iraq and Syria, as well as on Iran and Russia, through bombings or other attacks in the days ahead.

Ano ba ang EU response protocol for this kind of attacks? Is EU really that united that when one country declares war, all of the members should lend their military assistance?

This is just the beginning of the winter offensive. If rumors are to be trusted, IS has supposedly snuck in 4000 of their operatives along with the refugees.

regarding passports. same happened during 9/11. intact passport of the supposed hijacker unscathed and conveniently found when pretty much everything else have been blown to bits to the nano scale.

the more I muse about it, the more I think Stasi might be revived.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
