Shooting that occured outside a stadium where President Hollande was attending a concert; he was immediately evacuated.

nobody has mentioned anything, but Hollande "has no doubt" who did this. Most likely al Qaeda or IS

imagine something like this would happen during the apec summit. the ramifications are unimaginable. one thing is sure though, whatever inroads that we gain politically and economically at home as well as our standing in the international community, we'd be thrown back to the dark ages. we're spending some P10B for this occasion, and the bulk of it is for security. the number of policemen and military personnel deployed to secure this event is staggering. as early as last year we already have started our security preparations. quite interestingly, the samal kidnapping which involves foreign nationals has not figured prominently in the media for obvious reason, that is, we're downplaying it. we don't want to scare people, we need to show to the world we are not a security threat. now, whatever political affiliations we have-- right, left, or center-- we do our country a favor if we stop bickering for a moment, pray or hope that this one will be successful, and, above all, get on with and pardon the temporary inconvenience.
for the good of the country, for the betterment of our children, and our children's children.

100 dead in one venue alone...

BREAKING NEWS: As many as 100 reported dead in Bataclan Paris concert venue: BFM TV
    Paris in lockdown.

France has declared a national state of emergency and has closed its borders after scores of people were killed in multiple gun and bomb attacks in Paris.
At least 100 people are reported to have died at the Bataclan concert hall in central Paris.

Gunmen took many hostages there before being overpowered when police stormed the building.

Others died in attacks near the Stade de France, with some reports suggesting a suicide blast, and at restaurants.

Paris residents have been asked to stay indoors and military personnel are being deployed across the city.

WTF that's the reason the coalition bombed the town of raqqa in Syria yesterday. this islamist jihadi john was there. it must have some connection with the Paris attack.
