EU presses PH gov’t: End executions

The EU Parliament adopted the resolution addressing the extrajudicial killings in the Philippines based on Partnership Cooperation Agreement (PCA) signed by EU and the Philippines in 2014 to advance engagement on political, trade, security, environment and human rights issues.

The agreement commits the Philippines to uphold rule of law, social democracy and human rights as well as international human rights conventions.

The EU Parliament also said addressing summary killings of drug suspects is vital to the Philippines’ holding of the Asean chairmanship in 2017.

I am guessing you did not watch the footage or you did not understand what you were watching. The report only further corraborates that motabato did carry a gun, claimed to be a member of DDS and hunted drug addicts. Ergo his claim has basis. The purpose of this forum is to talk about cars and, to some level, intellectual discourse.

I am with you in supporting Du30. However, we must not cloud our judgment. Right now, Matobato is being tested for credibility. Right now, he is not 100% credible. That's why we have this conversation.

This is normal. Remember Jun Lozada? Everyone doubted him until he provided data and was answering questions without doubting himself of dates and events. He was consistent as well.

Matobato is not at that level. Be it because of his education (or lack thereof) or because it all fabrication or simply because he knows something but he was told to sensationalize it. Those will be the case until he proves it otherwise.
