September 14th, 2016 10:29 AM #6074We have way more ties to the US than to China, whether it be in terms of FDIs, Filipino Americans living abroad, OFWs and remittances. The US also matters more to us because we have family and friends based there. China is a bigger trading partner but that's about it.
This president has shown time and again that his need to satisfy his emotional need to respond in kind to any and all forms of criticism is more important to him than anything. This habit is going to bite us in the arse soon. It's only a matter of time until even his most rabid supporters realize this. Question is, what kind of country will we be left with until these people realize we are in trouble.
