Something's been bugging me: if nobody knew Matobato was going to come forward, how did Cayetano know when to bring the masking tapes? Nakahanda na talaga?


Matobato's claim about being a scout ranger, killing a non-existent terrorist, etc. ... these would've raised red flags easily. If he is indeed a "prepared" witness, he's an unbelievably bad one.


It's almost as if he was designed to fail...on the other hand, you have the "evidence" presented against De Lima...so i don't know what to make of it all.

There were a lot of statements in Matobato's testimony which had holes or comes across as unbelievable like the supposed killing of an NBI agent by 30 people who were simultaneously firing (pero buhay pa and had to be finished off by Digong by expending 2 mags of his Uzi).

IMHO, this could me the reason why he was discharged from the WPP because his testimony is simply unreliable. If I were in Cayetano's seat, I would have asked if the real reason he left the WPP is because Digong became the President or if the DOJ had him discharged for some other reason.

Instead, Cayetano focused on Plan B and insisted on the witness being exposed to political news and gossip.

It would have been more believable or credible of De Lima's committee to just bring forward a witness who can testify as to the present EJK and not those which occurred more than a decade ago.

If this was a coached witness, then they botched the job up pretty bad. The hesitancy in answering questions would leave one to think that he is trying to come up with an explanation rather than knowing the answer and just refusing to give it due to grave reasons like personal security, public interest, etc.

President Rodrigo Duterte once again promised the police to double their salaries starting December despite the insistence of administration officials that the funds for pay hike could no longer be incorporated in the 2017 national budget.

You should have noticed, yung mga tapes ay nakalagay sa supot ng ACE hardware. Wala pang 15 minutes ang ACE hardware sa Senate.
