It could be the handiwork of the ASG in retaliation to AFPs no let-up opn against them in Sulu. And to send a strong message to the President that they can't be cowed so easily.
Martial law for Basilan and Sulu is not a distant possibility. Any President will take that as an option even PNoy had considered that during his time. Recently, it has been the tack taken by the military to get rid of the terrorist group. The President should have approved that recommendation.
RIP to those have fallen in Davao City. It is sad day indeed for all of us.
Let us all be very vigilant. It is possible that Davao City is not the only target. Be safe everyone.

Duterte declares ‘state of lawlessness’
Here we go. Mike test mike test 1 2 3 to.President Rodrigo Duterte early Saturday declared “a state of lawlessness” or “a state of lawless violence” to counter terrorism and strengthen the campaign against illegal-drug trade.
Speaking in a televised interview, he clarified “it’s not martial law but it would require nationwide, well-coordinated efforts of the military and the police.”
wala ka din pinagkaiba sa boss mo! just like zoom, i admired both you and your boss for your stand, but now? Wow, from hero to zero.thumbs down
and you really have to threat?
ASG just owned up to the bombing.
Vice Mayor Duterte said last night Davao City and GenSan were targets.
Digong--as predicted--over reacted by declaring state of lawlessness. This guy's machismo will lead to more deaths.
Now he has an excuse to make Task Force Philippines, ala Task Force Davao (his way of controlling Davao thru police-military control).
Witness vs De Lima disowns ‘testimony’
Ayan Aguirre tustado ka, hilig kasing mag bitaw ng salita sa media eh. Next time dapat plantsahin mo muna ng maayos ang pag manufacture mo ng evidence bago ka ngumiti sa camera.Aguirre, however, said people behind De Lima whom he did not name were behind the apparent black propaganda to discredit him and the justice department’s probe.
In a rare media briefing, Aguirre showed reporters a table indicating that the DOJ was in possession of 19 BDO deposit slips amounting to P88.504 million. Yet, he also admitted that those checks had been “discredited.”
Aguirre insisted the “leak of the bank documents was premature,” because the DOJ was still verifying it over the course of its case buildup on possible graft and drug charges against De Lima.
He also admitted that he had not examined the documents thoroughly, because of the “deluge” of information and the agency’s lack of appointed undersecretaries. He also expressed surprise that one of the slips was dated on a Good Friday.
