This should serve as a reminder to all the genuine members of this board: The people you are arguing with are paid to mindlessly pick fights online. Do not think that you can knock some sense and logic into them. Learn to differentiate between trolls and real people.

On that note, since it's these trolls themselves who support scrapping due process and are promoting the government's shame campaigns in the name of the War against Drugs, I think it's about time that we also take the War against Trolls seriously.

Here's how it goes:
1. If we, the moderators, observe that a member is obviously trolling and causing havoc on any thread, we will call them out, either via PM or a public post.

2. If suspected troll is unable to prove that he isn't a troll, he will be banned.

3. Other members can help by referring trolls which we may have missed, and citing their troll-like behavior.

On a related note, I again commend juts and the admins for taking the decision to make tsikot a Safe Space for intelligent and rational discussion board free of paid trolls.

i also remember, that during fvr's time, the power shortage was so bad, no one complained of the cost of these expensive power plants.
the complaints started later, once the supply stabilized and people could go about their business again.

IMO, one reason why the PNoy admin was excruciatingly slow in implementing infra and upgrading existing mass transport was because they were vetting out the cost to make sure we don't get caught on onerous contracts that will drown taxpayers for years to come?

Emergency powers for traffic tapos we all end up paying P500 toll fees from Makati to QC.

Good to have the willpower but check and balances should always be maintained. If you think you have endless power now, always remember na bilog ang mundo and that may come back and bite you hard later on.

If the budget allotment for the Office of the President (discretionary?) is one sign of how they will hardball for some things to work, I'm worried about the long term implications. Same thing with the SSS right? Binubuhay ba ulit yung increase?

EDSA traffic is worse, BTW. MIA and ulit yung mga TE from where they are supposed to be managing flow/bottlenecks and preventing drivers from doing stupid things that slow the flow. Sayang as during the first few weeks they actually did some things that worked well in making traffic flow better.
