Abu Sayyaf claims responsibility for Davao blast – report

MANILA, Philippines – Terrorist group Abu Sayyaf claimed responsibility for the deadly explosion at a night market in Davao City, a report said Saturday, September 3.

Radio station dzMM reported that the Abu Sayyaf, through its spokesperson Abu Rami, owned up to the blast on Friday evening, September 2, at the Roxas Night Market in Davao City.

Abu Rami reportedly described the blast as a "call for unity" among Islamic guerrilla fighters called the mujahideen.

The Abu Sayyaf spokesperson also said this serves as a warning to the Philippine government led by President Rodrigo Duterte, former mayor of Davao City.

Bok, relax. Do not sweat the small stuff. I told you, buy a bike and let's take ride. Riding is different because you're in the zone most of the time and you forget everything. The best way to decompress. It is my turn now to invite you to join MCP.

By the way, don't be ashamed you're a dutertard now though not rabid one. ✌

Now he has an excuse to make Task Force Philippines, ala Task Force Davao (his way of controlling Davao thru police-military control).
It's a foregone conclusion. Intelligence if not timely is not intelligence at all. Oxymoron.

Sumagi talaga sa isip niyo na sinadya yung bomba sa sarili niyang bayan na inalgaan niya ng ilang dekada para mag deklara ng martial law?

No. No person in his right mind would sacrifice 14 innocent lives just to declare martial law when he could declare it anytime. But despite of the bombing, he did not declare it and despite of his Hawkish persona. So, it does tell you something.

Yes, I agree. That's why some people were disgruntled when the ASG was made to escape in Lamitan.

Bro, I'm just expressing my opinion. Kung ayaw mo yung opinion ko, no need to take it personally. Let's agree to disagree, OK?

Isn't it reckless for us to point fingers and start conspiracies at this time when our kababayans have suffered severe trauma? Lets all be vigilant and find ways to help and hope we can recover. Props to the davao city emergency response team. Heard okay ang responde nila.

At least 14 killed, 67 others hurt in Davao blast | Headlines, News, The Philippine Star | philstar.com

    You were saying...

Is it me or parang style before martial law nangyayari ngayon. Masses are being fd with gross violence, criminality and drug problems to mask bad ulterior motive?

With all the EJKs (Duterte himself admitted) happening all around us, conspiracy theories are no longer a surprise. Remember those killed in the alleged encounter with the cops (and the collateral effects) were also our kababayans.

Dont think conspiracy theories, instead think about the universal law of cause and effect. If there is an effect, there must be a cause.

Yup in 2003. 40 killed, 200 wounded when airport was bombed in March then pier in April.

GMA then declared State of Lawless Violence in Davao, then created Task Force Davao (TFD) .

Kaya I won't be surprised if a TFP will follow.

Digong still thinks like a mayor. His learning curve is costing lives.

Here's an article on why an all-out war against ASG won't work.

Inside Abu Sayyaf: Blood, drugs and conspiracies - News from Al Jazeera

Ironical if some of the bomb material came from the P50M ransom that Duterte paid
