Profit taking... most likely. Stocks always rally after a good election. Now, as reality sets in, people are in wait-and-see mode.

I think the mining thing is fine. You really are going after erring companies. But the Philweb thing was a bit fishy... for a country that is actively courting big casino and resorts developers in an effort to become a new Macau, going arbitrarily after a company without filing a court case for tax evasion or whatever is a big red flag.

Honestly: I'm open to the possibility of De Lima being as corrupt as anyone else in the government.

On the other hand... asking an actual employee inside your office to physically hand off millions to your driver... who is supposed to be the bagman... to deposit in his account?
