the point is at the end of the day, oppression, corruption and crimes is still rampant. poverty is still high.

people power is a success in giving its people a voice but does it end the other issues that crippled the country?

we can say we cant solve it overnight. yet, it seem we are ok with erap still holding a government post, the marcoses and rumualdez still having a stronghold in the north, gma is going on vacation. rampant corruption still exist in many government agencies.

you see we have failed to re-invent or change our identity. we are still the same poor and corrupt nation just without the usual bloodshed... that is if you dont consider people dying everyday from crimes or the ongoing war with the separatist group not a bloodshed.

good luck getting shafted becuase it seem you also have no confidence in the current administration. all of you experience people power as you claimed but it seem you all forgot that its success is on its sheer size, number and unity. so yeah keep fighting your own wars. 6 more years of shafting people. lube that well.

The problem with your point of view is that PGong is actually doing good. Sa mga posts mo dito obvious na love mo siya. But as you said, wala naman siya nagagawa na matino eh. The main problems persists at bumabalik pa sa poder mga corrupt cornies ni GMA at FVR. PNoy administration for all its fault still pointed the country to the right direction. PGong is doing it backwards. As shadow said, utak mayor lang kai, pang-LGU style. Wala malalim na pag-unawa sa problema nang pinas at sa tamang solution. Sa kanya mas matidni salita mura at palusot sorry sa huli kapag palpak.

Yung mga sinabing mong old dynasties, yan din naman bumuto kay PGong. Kaya nga sila bobotante eh.
