DILG confirms they have evidence against these generals based from the news (not fb) so i think they are on the same page.

By the way, Mayors are more appropriate to be a president because they know how to run a government compared to senators which job is to legislate so dont think they are small time especially coming from a Davao which is a big city.

INCOMING Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez yesterday assured the people that President Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte will not tolerate the return of the pork barrel system just to ensure lawmakers’ support for the new administration’s legislative agenda.

Alvarez said President Duterte and Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno will not violate the Supreme Court ruling declaring as unconstitutional the lump sum Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or pork barrel.

“Walang pork barrel, it has been declared illegal by the Supreme Court. I do not intend to violate it and Secretary Diokno will not allow it,” Alvarez told this reporter in a text message.

Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate echoed Alvarez’ statement that President Duterte will not allow the pork barrel system in his administration that has been promising change and reforms.

“President Duterte already said before that he will no longer allow pork to be inserted in the national budget, knowing fully well that it was, is and will still be a source of graft and corruption. President Duterte’s has vowed zero tolerance on corruption campaign and that will be put to nothing if pork is allowed to grease the hands of legislators as a form of patronage,” said Zarate.

“The evidence (documentary or testimonial) against the named generals should not be released yet as it may prejudice the administrative and criminal investigation/s and case/s against them,” Communications Secretary Martin Andanar told reporters in a text message.

“A premature release of evidence through the media may also violate the constitutional right to due process of those involved,” Andanar added.

“Only administrative cases will be filed there. Ultimate penalty they can give is dismissal from service,” he said.
