Either he has solid evidence to support the allegations (as mentioned by Ping Lacson) or he is just too eager to prove to his supporters he walk the talk. If he gets a conviction his supporters will grow, otherwise the repercussion will just be too heavy and dangerous.

Aaahhh I want him to go all the way. Look at my past posts, I never said he won't name the generals. I kept daring him to name all 3 generals and 32 mayors and governors, parade them at EDSA, shoot them and then dump their bodies in Manila Bay.

Again, in fairness the President has just shown he has bigger balls than when he was the mayor of Davao.

Pero AT THE VERY LEAST, dapat makulong ang mga guilty na heneral at mga mayor.

Oo nga. Although it looks pretty macho especially among his supporters, if instead he allowed his spoeksman or DILG/PNP chiefs to announce it, if they screw up he can still distance from it and claim those are not the generals he was talking about. But if true, he can still bask in the glory anyway. Sometimes lumalabas pa rin ying pagka-smalltime/town politician niya.
