Here's what i find ironic : the way he talks(e.g. sasabihan daw niya mga congressman and senators to pass the bill, sasabihan niya mga korte, huwag harangan mga projects, kasabwat sa drugs ang mga pulis na yan, ipadala sa mindanao, etc. etc.) it's like he prefers "centralized" governance ("benevolent dictatorship", some may say)...yet he's pushing for federalism, which basically decentralizes power

Oo nga. Although it looks pretty macho especially among his supporters, if instead he allowed his spoeksman or DILG/PNP chiefs to announce it, if they screw up he can still distance from it and claim those are not the generals he was talking about. But if true, he can still bask in the glory anyway. Sometimes lumalabas pa rin ying pagka-smalltime/town politician niya.

DILG confirms they have evidence against these generals based from the news (not fb) so i think they are on the same page.

By the way, Mayors are more appropriate to be a president because they know how to run a government compared to senators which job is to legislate so dont think they are small time especially coming from a Davao which is a big city.

because they command platoons or comapnies. they can even orchestrate coup de etat or a clandestine operation aganst their enemies.

the move to just reveal their names over the media is good move, the psychological factors take over. People who know them, soldiers/politicians/rich powerful men, neighbors, club co-members, classmates of their children in school will distance themselves from them. isolation gane ika nga.

though, like any other polticial adventurism, all these accused top officlas can always seek refuge to the opposition spin doctors and yun na nga we can have a coup de etat or mini-revolt.

we are living in dangerous times indeed.

The instruction is very clear, they will talk to them first to explain their side. Also, they have national police commission if i'm not mistaken who handle this case so the ball is now on their hands. Ang maganda lng dito eh na relieve na sila from duty.

Okay, maybe all or most them was a previous mayor. My point is do not underestimate a mayor, mas lalo kung galing sa province. I'm from manila pero naalala ko lng na naging good leaders is bayani. Why? Because people follow him. Isama mo na si gordon and duterte.
