What I don't get is China lang yung source ng shabu in the illustration shown by Digong when Mexico's Sinaloa cartel is also a major source
Nah nadaot na, di ko suko kay digong bay. Mayor nako na sa Davao, although dito na ako naka tira sa Norther Luzon. Critical is the proper term though, di pwede sa pulitika natin ang blind faith.
Ganito kaming mga long timer dito sa tsikot, parating critical but we give credit where credit is due. What turns us off is fanaticism, which unfortunately appears to be the common trait of a digong follower.
I'll give this one to duts. But 6 years is a long time, I want to see how they will react to crisis that will hit us.

eto talaga nakakatakot. kaya nag-training na ako ng weapons and defense eh. most Filipinos don't know that babagsak ang ekonomiya during détente's watch. not to blame him, but we should blame the global financial system. the Brexit, the refugee crisis in Europe and Middle East, America closing its border in Trump leadership. we're heading for a global crisis talaga. kaya ako di gano nagbabasa sa FB, ngaun. I use my time well, training myself survival skills.
ang pinaka-una ma-hit yun mga kumuha ng Montero and Fortuner and MUX and Everest na baon sa udang ngaun, tsk tsk i wonder what will happen to them a year or 2 years from now
The only way he's leaving, given that 90% of Congress has gone balimbing and has formed a coalition behind him to protect its own arse, is through people power or a coup d' etat.
The military won't do a coup. There's enough dissatisfaction in the ranks and enough pro-Duterte soldiers that they won't get behind the generals on that.
And people power? Good lord... look at who it gave us last time (and I was there last time). No thanks.

I believe there's hope that Duterte will learn diplomacy and flexibility. I mean, look... after the election, when he didn't need to call attention to himself with outrageous sound bites and his rambling speeches with off-color jokes and controversial stream-of-consciousness off-the-cuff remarks (patayin yan lahat... ubusin... don't **** with me)... when all that started to create negative feedback with the media and the public (guess how he got a 20-ish percent trust rating?), he decided to stop holding press-cons.
When it became obvious that Panelo wasn't the guy who could speak less controversially for Duterte, he hired a communications team to help. And when he saw the positive feedback for Robredo and got word that she was willing to work with him, he made an about face and gave her a Cabinet position.
Duterte knows that he has to adapt to his position. So he's adapting. Let's hope makes (mostly) good decisions over this first year.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
All valid and solid points there, niky. He's a politician and he's adapting, or metamorphosizing as he promised.
But he'll be making some high gamble moves in the coming weeks and months like China, Libingan, NPA, Bangsamoro, etc. Plus the bodies keep piling up alarmingly.
He's unpredictable. Who knows, he may just resign as he threatened/joked about at times...
Anyway, interesting times ahead, to say the least....
