BBM has a lousy campaign manager. Lalamunin lang ito ng buhay ni du30 sa vp race. Instead of historical "revisionism", why not focus their campaign narrative on "redemption"? bbm should've acknowledged the bad effects of martial law, apologize to victims, pledge to return the plundered wealth, and tigilan ang pagpupumilit na nakabuti sa philippines ang termino ng erpats niya. Nagmumukha lang tuloy silang obobs ng mga supporters niya. Solid north and apologists are brainwashed and blind horses anyway so they would still support him even if bbm's campaign risks to alienate them with their redemption narrative. Ang kailangan niya eh magbago isip ng mga anti macoy, remember filipinos are forgiving and attracted to underdogs/turn-around stories sure win sana siya kung ganito ginawa nila.

Exactly my thoughts! I would imagine Isko giving Digong shot as VP, kaya he would then hatch a plan to have him killed.

To Trillanes' point, kung dalawa lang ang candidates, one is admin and one is opposition. Supposed the opposition candidate is Leni, anong guarantee na yung voter ni Pacquiao si Leni ang iboboto kung hindi na tatakbo si Pacquiao. If you're choosing Pacquiao over Leni malamang niyan duterte yan kung hindi tatakbo si Pacquiao. Having these candidates is an advantage to the true opposition candidate kasi nagkakaroon ng ibang option yung mga ganung type of voters.

Hindi porque running against the admin, "opposition" na. Oo by technical definition lang. But suppose there's Bong Go-Digong then Sara-BBM. Mahahati ba ang opposition because of this, of course not. Sila sila ang mag aagawan ng boto. Same logic applies kay MP, Gordon, Lacson. A true opposition voter will not fall for these trapo moves if a viable candidate is running, example Leni.

BBM et al in the Marcos clan would never do that. They'd rather spend their money (stolen naman eh) on promoting their version of history and covering up their image... cheaper too rather than paying off their victims. Ganun nga. I understand what your saying na your thinking that even if others supposedly opposition wins , the same old faces can be seen in gov't doing the same old dirty work. Problem is that a lot of people/voters don't want to see the same faces of the LP(Liberal Party) back in power. That is why you see a different type of true opposition coming out like 1Sambayan, etc. Even if most of them are former LP partymates, they are distancing themselves from the LP to attract more of the voter even those who dislike the LP.

Can't remember the exact reason why Grace Poe(GP) wouldn't slide into VP in the last 2016 election, i recall GP was topping the surveys and Mar was in the middle pack lagging, this was before the black propaganda attacks. Why would Grace Poe slide down to Vice Pres candidate when she is topping the Presidential candidate surveys? During that time she had a better chance of winning than Mar. But in the end it worked wonders for the LP since Leni was able to win the VP race.

Ang true opposition ni Duterte si Leni, LP, Trillanes, Chel Diokno, Magdalo, Makabayan Bloc etc. Kung ayaw ng isang tao sa LP, meaning ayaw din niya kay Leni, Hontiveros, Bam, Kiko, Drilon, de Lima, LP lahat yan eh. Kung ayaw niya sa LP, opposition ba talaga ang stand niya?

Si Gordon, Pacquiao, Isko, isn't it convenient na ngayon all of a sudden sabay sabay sila kaaway ni Duterte. So ngayon may concept na madami kaaway si duterte kelangan nila mag unite.

Kung iboboto ng isang tao si Pacquiao over let's say Leni, if it's just between Leni and Digong this voter will most likely lean Digong kasi may choice ka na mag Leni nag Pacquiao ka pa. Yan yung point ni Trillanes. Pero yung true opposition voter, kahit sino pa tumakbo, steady yan basta may bearer sila. Gordon, Pacquiao, Lacson is clearly not theirs.

Ang question naman talaga kung may volume pa tong mga ito or puro masa voter at talagang Bong Go Sara BBM na uwi natin eh.

None of the true opposition candidates you mentioned have a good chance of winning against Sara/Packy.

I would gladly vote for then but the sad reality is that people from our demographic are far too few to make an impact to the election results.

As shadow said, pera lang talaga habol ni ishko. There is no logic at all to get willy ong as VP. I think pakawala yan ni digong to give a semblance of oppostion. Same is true for Lacson and Pacquiao. Moro-moro lang lahat para daw democratic ang election process natin.
