Nope. The communist where already on the upswing before the martial law and even after.
Some towns and countries in nearby provinces were starting to see the sudden influx of this.
It was in this time that south Vietnam was collapsing and the Foreign communist country are targeting the Philippines as the next one to influence.
thou the Assassination attempt on Enrile was probably staged to further bolster to the international community that there was a need for martial law.

Dictatorship (stalin) ang nationalized corporations (everything is owned by the state) are hallmarks of a socialist country like USSR (union of soviet socialist republic is a communist country).

Ironically that's what became of the philippines after the declaration of martial law. We had a dictator in Marco's and most especially we had corporations like meralco (at the back of our meralco bill under the UNIVERSAL charges were still paying for the accumulated stranded debts of national power corp during Marco's reign), PAL (served the first family ferrying imees breast milk from London to keep apo macoys 1st grandson well nourished while mom imee enjoy her trip out of the country) and many more corporations nationalized.

Look at what happened to USSR, it collapsed. We could have suffered the same fate as a nation had Marco's not been ousted in 1986

Now they want to return to power?

Dumami npa during martial law dahil karamihan dun DPA. Kaya tumakas na sila sison kasi di na nila alam sino totoong npa.

For the third time in as many election, the pink coated yellowtards smelled again the scent of panic, hopelessness, desperation and kangkungan. The likes of monsod will pass away without seeing aanother yellowtard pres in malacanang.

Sarah and BBM both in Cebu hosted together by a common friend, Most likeky game over na nga.

Green and red are the new winning colors.
    Congratulation !!

Look who is on a panic mode. If BBM is really leading, why the need for propaganda and doing a tuslob buwa in Cebu which is an opposition bailiwick?

Isn't that the point of campaigning?
Garnering supporters in areas where you are weak.
