If I remember correctly, isa si Trillanes kumausap kay Duterte para tumakbo. He even asked to be Duterte's VP. I remember him being on Duterte's side and then when Duterte didn't took him as VP that's when he started his fight against Duterte.

Di ba parehong drop out? Si Imee yung nagpumilit mag-enroll sa UP College of Law tapos wala naman degree. Tapos nung di pinayagan mag-martsa sa graduation gumawa ng sariling graduation program.

thing about nice people...

people who are honest-to-goodness nice

people whose compassion and empathy can extend beyond family/relatives/friends

we all wish we had leaders like that but nice people are too nice for politics

it takes certain kinds of people to make it in politics

i've never met any national level leader but i've met a number of mayors from provinces who came to manila to buy equipment for their LGU

a common characteristic i noticed is that they're intimidating

there's something about them... habang kausap mo ramdam mo they're not ordinary folks

they're nice but you feel these people are tough guys

you know they didn't win elections by being nice

produkto sila ng natural selection -- they didn't become mayor if they didn't have the guts and ruthlessness to compete with other people who also wanted become mayor

point ko ang character ng mga politiko malayo sa character ni mother theresa

we want our leaders to be like mother theresas but mother theresas are too nice... they don't have the killer instinct to join the dirty world of politics
