That was a massive debbie downer by isko. Seriously? willie fking ong?! virtually unknown nga to sa politics eh.

The Willie Ong selection was strategic to make it convincing that their platform prioritizes health, which is a big ticket item today.

Of course they don’t expect Willie Ong to win. The bets are all in for Isko.

With the current weak VP lineup, BBM will surely win if he runs for VP.

Only Grace Poe-level candidates can counter BBM’s fame (bad publicity is still publicity).

Poe can win. Leni, low chance.

I think she’ll be a great President but has zero charisma outside of the “woke” community. Think Raul Roco in the past.

Sinong kargador/magsasaka/mangingisda pipili kay Leni kaysa Isko oozing with charisma. Or Manny. Or Sara.

Leni won against bbm, inspite of crappy Pnoy admin.
Now, duts admin is crappier and Leni showed her character during the pandemic and was on the ground sa mga magsasaka at masa.
Daming groups na supporting her but they need to capitalize thru right strategy. She can definitely win.

Yun mga natulungan ng OVP during the pandemic na mga DDS, solid pa rin yun kahit alam nila VP ang tumulong sa kanila.

Because LP still had momentum in 2016. Mar still had 10M votes. Residual equity from those who were happy with the Aquino administration.

Today, LP is a sunken ship. I fully agree that Leni is the best bet for President. But Presidential elections are a numbers/masa game. Doesn’t matter what the few, educated people think.

You need to tap into the middle and lower classes to win.

Kapal naman ng mukha nyan. May kilala ka first hand na ganyan? Among my friends nung may covid kami, pinaka helpful programs ni VP. Yung friend ko napadalhan pa nga covid kit ang ganda ng laman hindi tipid. Buti wala naman DDS sa close friends ko. [emoji23]

Dapat lang tulungan sila, kahit kanino pa galing and they will never blame dutiti, bakit kailangan nila magpasalamat sa VP eh trabaho niya yun tumulong ganyan mentality ng mga yan.

Ang nakakatakot baka maging Grace Poe 2.0 pagtakbo ni Isko.

Masyado marami tatakbo, kung ako talaga sa kanya tinapos na lang niya term niya sa Manila next na siya Makigulo.

Unless the opposition gets a united front, chances are slim for them to win.
Like Jut said. elections is a numbers game.
These are currently the opposition candidates for president:
    -Lacson
    -Paquiao
    -Isko
    -Gordon(?)
    -Trillanes(!)
    -Leni

Thats six candidates seeking the Opposition votes. even if you get half of pinoy voters to vote against the opposition you have to distribute it to the different opposition candidates.
Don't you think some of these candidates are just running to take votes away from other more winnable Opposition candidates.

That is not a far fetched possibility.

Hmmm if we had a 2 party system, would the opposition have a better chance than whoever the admin would put in?

Actually i have tons of friends who regret voting for duts.
Almost all will vote for Leni next year.
Theyre voting for the candidate and not due to the political party.
Also, her vp might not be LP din.
