    *Not His Father’s Son*
After dodging Jessica Soho & other journalists, Marcos Jr. this time declined to join the KBP Forum. His latest excuse: conflict in schedule.
At the rate he's going, Junior will be the Guinness record holder for making the most excuses to avoid tough questions. What a distressing sight to those who cling to the Apo’s mythology.
After all, what enabled the late dictator to reach the presidency was his gift for elocution. An extemporaneous speaker, he was a master of word & cadence (but terribly economical with the truth).
The father’s former lieutenants (JPE & Estelito Mendoza) who continue to stand in the frontlines must be pained to see his namesake slinking away. They remember how the dictator relished being front & center, going against titans like Raul Manglapus, Ninoy Aquino or Jose W. Diokno.
To see his son scurry away from interviews would’ve driven the father to anguish.
Or maybe not. After all, it was Marcos, Sr. himself who wrote in his diary that, _“Bongbong is our principal worry--he is too carefree and lazy.”_
A prophetic assessment confirmed by the son’s present antics. While the dictator’s acumen thrived in confrontation, his son’s talents lean toward evasion.
The father was called the “lion” of the North. The son’s is now known as (BBM) “Ba-Back out Muli”.
The father lived & breathed the northern spirit, the son can’t even cook authentic pinakbet (which he skipped the KBP forum for).
Strategy? A Genuine Ilocano, the father would be livid to see how his namesake spins these retreats as something else. The late Strongman so abhorred appearing “weak”, he hid his illness for years.
What will he make of his son publicly fleeing from journalists?
Marcos Jr. claims he can bring back his father’s “Golden Age”. Assuming that myth was true, his repeated retreats raise a question: is Marcos Jr. a worthy heir of the Apo?
Because reviving Camelot requires more than just bearing King Arthur’s name. Excalibur follows worth, not birthright. And his father gathered “knights”, not slaves to a bloodline.
The dictator’s followers must take a hard look at the son’s recent failings. Because while he might be a “Marcos”, it appears the Apo’s proud legacy rests elsewhere. And the father’s brilliant men would be right to refuse to bow before someone who is not his father’s son. They can paraphrase the lines of Sen. Bentsen in 1988: “Senator, I served with your father. I knew Ferdinand Marcos, Sr.
Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Ferdinand Marcos.”

Accorisngsa data ng NEDA 1998-2004 nasa almost 350-400B lang infrastructure expenses ng gov't. Nung kay GMA hanggang 2010 umabot 900B. 2011-2016 from 900-1.5B. Ngayon nasa 2.2B.

Mukhang na-impluwensiyahan.

Ang nakakatawa, supporters from all presidentiables bina-bash siya hahaha. Hindi na-gets sino amo.

Nakakasuka these candidates that are dancing and singing during the campaign. Ginawang variety show. Si Harry Roque may back up dancers pa. Sa Pilipinas lang ba ganyan? Sa US hindi naman. I'm not aware with other countries
