Actually coming from the provinces, i was told stories before the Martial law by parents and grand parents.
Mas magulo daw talaga sa provinces such that the marines and army would sometimes have to go inside towns to bring peace and order.
Politicians aligned with marcos were like feudal lords during those time, threatening to kill anyone who opposes them.

Sa provinces not here in NCR. especially those distant places, not necessarily northern province. people in visayas and mindano mayrun.

Which is why i ask how is it that people during those martial law era want to vote for BBM, yet young people who were never alive during those time so anti-marcos.

From ally to nemesis: Isko Moreno now tags Leni 'fake leader' | ABS-CBN News

"Wag kayong malilinlang sa pagpapalitan ng kulay... Ang tanso, tubugin man ng ginto ay tanso pa rin,"

"You cannot talk of unity when you yourself hindi mo nga ma-unify sarili mong [party] (when you can't even unify your own party)," Domagoso said when asked to react on Robredo's statement.

"You're not even proud of your party. Kung kayang mong iwan ang mga kasama mo [sa partido], paano pa kaya kaming 110 million Filipinos?" he said.

It similar of how some restaurants or bars that have lost customers and patrons changes its name but when you go inside it has the same owners, same cooks, same waiters, almost the same food and drinks; just a different sign and name.

Parang yung restaurant na siniraan may daga at ipis daw kasi yung pagkain, pinakalat sa social media. Kahit fake, sira na yung brand ng restaurant kaya kelangan nilang magpalit ng name.
