Saw a unit at SouthMall...

I was telling the SA that the pricing appears to be on the high end, probably competing with the popular Ecosport Titanium, and if he has a lower(cheaper) variant to offer.

Got turned off when he said that they are selling this unit, hinged on the Filipino's propensity for showing off his wealth.

Like the buyer will drive this vehicle only to parties just to show to his friends that he has a new vehicle....

Mahirap mang tanggapin pero may halong katotohanan din naman ang sinabi nya. Ilang pinoy ba ang updated sa latest iPhone pero wala namang pang load at tingi-tingi lang kung mag data plan para updated sa fb at twitter.

Pero yung maangas ang SA, dun sya nagkamali. Pwede namang ang sinabi na lang nya na for now 1 model lang talaga ang meron but will raise your input to his supervisor.

Millenial kasi ang karamihan ng SA ngaun. Dadaanin ka sa ego mo, para di ka maka-discount. Kasi pag cheap ka, eh bat ang yabang ng dating mo dahill bibili ka ng kotse. Kasi sila hindi pa makabili on their own


Pansin ko na yan sa ibang yuppies ngaun. I really dont know if that scheme will work in thr log run

*petixs totally agree that 980K is too much. Same with Ecosport titanium at 985. However, pamahal ng pamahal din lahat. Avanza just changed its grill, then increased to around 910K. Then in Toyota last month i saw a dressed-up Vios at 900+ din. (Vios..at almost 1M?). Wala na din halos options in the market.
