And is that protocol, that you pay first..then they give you the unit after some time? - Any advice very much appreciated..

Just tell the SA na you have the money already... Konting yabang para alam nya na may pera ka then tell her you've bought several cars already before this and never ka hiningan ng full payment. So why do it now diba? Always follow up sa kanya twice a week para alam nya serious buyer ka and you have the means also to demand. Pili ka na tint as if nandyan na yung oto and ask for after sales service indicating na unit na lng kulang since on your side, ready ka na. That's a subtle way of telling your SA na kayo na lang hinihintay mo to own a unit and serious buyer ka. Basta don't pay in full... Tell your SA kaliwaan kyo once the unit arrive. Advise ka lang kamo at least 2 days before dumating para maayos mo rin docs. By the way, bank PO ka ba or cash? I would suggest bank PO para safe at pwde ka na pagawa ng advance PO, to follow car details, that way, safe money mo sa bank. That's what I did.

I dont believe na malaki demand nito kaya walang maibigay. Majority of people i know napapangitan dito tapos ganyan. Sa tingin ko nagtetest ng market ang nissan kung gano karami paparatingin nila. Baka magparating ng marami tapos hindi mabenta. Kaya paonti onti lang

Thank you all for your advice. Seems you are all on the same page not to pay in full and that there is no guarantee.
*jepoy1002 i was hoping to get it cash or managers check to avoid bank interest. But if bank PO is the way to go then maybe i can take the least term (1 year) just to make sure the money is safe. And if you dont mind, could you share the SA that you recommend is maasikaso so i can get a unit without much hassle? Thanks.

Hanap ka iba sir. The fact ginagago ka ng SA mo, wag ka na makipag transact sakanya. Ano pang panloloko gawin nyan next time

Been using my Juke for the past week and I'm loving it.
It's really a head turner, specially in its yellow skin.

Did a DIY HID upgrade on the fog lamps, it was hard as hell, had to take apart both lower sides of the bumper, think It's easier to remove the whole bumper itself.

By the way I found that you can adjust the angle of the foglamps by inserting a screw driver through the whole beneath the fog lamps, the adjustment screw can be turned by the driver.

So far loving the ride, build quality and material is top notch, I'm averaging about 12 kms/li mix.

HIDs in your fog lamps? Extend some road courtesy. Lets not blind other motorist for fun.

That's why I found out the aiming screws at the bottom....

Traveled 1100 kms going to Caramoan and Legazpi last week... one Hellavu ride. The Nissan aircon did not disappoint. It was hot as hell going back thru Lucena, out side temp was reading 39 but inside everything was cool and comfy.

Bumps and road ruts were easily taken by the suspension. Power was ok, but not used to the CVT powerband delivery of the juke which starts at 2500-3000 rpm... I had to use SPORT mode 75% of the time but it still gave 12.5 kms/li all in... 5 seating, traffic, uphills, open roads etc.

NVH levels are topnotch for a 1M Japanese car. You hardly feel the road noise, and that insulation helps in the sound system, the 6 speaker system isnt class leading but decent enough to feel you dont need to upgrade. But if the sound bug bites me..well I'll upgrade the speakers to decent brands.

The seats are not Gravity seat types but a great balance between sporty bolsters and comfort cushioning, the rear passenger seats are like wise comfy as attested by my kids.

Steering is better than my Mirage's, lot of feedback.

Over all one of the best vehicles I've purchased over the years at this price point.

    Over all I love the:

    1. Looks, a real head turner at the Beach resort parking, I see people taking pics and selfies.
    2. Value for money, consider the front wheel rivals, the 1.2M ASX, 1.2M TRaxx and 975K Ecosport, You get a JDM CBU with a lot of bells and whistles.
    3. JDM/ EUDM design and Japanese build, its an old car built for Europe and Japan but the design bit shows a lot of things you dont see in an ASEAN designed car, like the NVH insulation, under chassis flaps, front wiper oem aero spoiler, real world comfy and sporty seats, slightly elevated CVT shifter, a lot of foam and styro inserts for removing squeeks and noise damping. As for the japanese build, it really shows, the beefy doors that shut like vaults, the finish in panel gaps ( makes me really think in aftermarket installs, I really dont want to take it apart).
    3. The FC, my best was 12.5 and my worst to date is 11.5.
    4. Love the built in throttle controller in the ICON panel (Sport, Normal and ECO) really works.
    5. Maintenance schedule, its now at 10,000 km. interval which is great, dont really know why Toyota and Mitsubishi are still stuck to the 5,000 cycle even for their EURO 4 engines?
    6. The toys, at almost 1M, they did make a lot of toys as standard, push start/stop button, cruise control and HU remotes, 17 inch wheels, reverse camera, auto headlamps, autofold mirros, the LED signature Z park lights, rear lights and side mirror signal lights, the high quality leather steering and shifter ( better quality than my 1.4M SUV mind you), and the hidden cargo space for my laptop bag.

    My peeves,
    1. Dont like the quirky Climate control that defaults to outside vent when turned off.
    2. The CVT power band that kicks in at 2.5 RPM during rabbit starts... Not used to that... but at the open road in sport mode, it is a fast crossover.
    3. The HU, really think that a 2 DIN at this level should have GPS as standard and a Video player...
    4. No OEM Xenon lamps.. really think this should be standard, aftermarkets are cheap but at this price point it should be standard.
    5. The NIssan connect app doesnt work, I think Nissan discontinued it after hackers managed to hack the Nissan leaf on board App system

It's been 3 weeks and I've already swapped the fog lamp and low beams to HID, added a Garmin GPS, OEM window visors, smoke filmed the headlights ( I really didnt want to do it, but i noticed that the scoop design of the round headlights was a magnet for road debris, hitting it, notices some scratches, finally filmed it for protection), I'm waiting for my rear spoiler, under painting now. It's a fun crossover to drive.

That corresponds to the trip meter that you set when you travel a certain distance. For example, when you load full then you reset trip A to zero, then the mileage reading after the full tank would be you FC.

Can i reset it as well? I have reset my Trip A several times but the figure in fuel consumption stayed at 30li/100km.

Reset it when you are filling up only (full tank) so that the next time you refill (full tank as well), get the reading from the trip meter and divide it by the number of liters from your latest purchase and that will give a more accurate FC compared to the MID screen on your car.

BTW sir, baka u might want to consider the Jimny? Hehe in red

Based on my experience lng po...

I was late in joining the crowd of hopeful nissan juke owners. 1st week of feb, i asked a friend who has contacts in nissan head office and plant to assist in looking for a dealership which has better offer i.e. freebies. Unfortunately nothing came out better than the offer i received from my sa. My friend told me that since juke is selling like hotcakes and there is a long line of backlog deliveries and releases, i should not expect any discount.

Hopefully you can get a better deal this time.
