Is it a good buy? ito ba yung sinasabi niyo na ganda ng riding experience? or were u talking about the All New Xtrail CVT? 1.350-1.550M yun eh. Tong roadmaster eh 1.145M.
Actually last minute decision ito. I was on the brink of buying Escape. Pero even the new Escape wala talagang dating sa kalye.
Insights please!

September 13th, 2010 12:23 AM #213The roadmaster edition is the old Xtrail. But the ride is still good, in fact it's softer than the Xtrail CVT that i test drove. What's good with the roadmaster edition are the additional features like GPS, USB, etc. The Xtrail CVT has a boring radio unit. For me get a test drive of the old Xtrail and the new Xtrail if you want to be sure on your purchase.

September 14th, 2010 02:59 PM #215Yup it's way better than Escape. Ride quality pa lng malayo na difference cause we have both. The improved audio unit is also a big plus.

September 16th, 2010 10:50 AM #216Sir Caloymd; update naman sa current fuel consumption mo. I'm really interested with the new xtrail but I'm having second thoughts, we have the 2007 2.0 4x2 variant and we love it but the consumption is crazy at 6km/L (70% city and 30% hway) despite conservative driving. if the new one averages 8-8.5kms to a liter am surely going to get one. TIA

September 21st, 2010 03:43 PM #219Caloy's mileage is already good for a 2.5L gas engine in city driving. There is no SUV with a 2.5L gas engine that can give you 8km/L in pure city driving. If you want higher, diesel is your only option.

BMW x3 2.5 on the average can give an 8.2-8.5 km/L city driving
Mitsubishi outlander v6 can give 8 km/L
Never say NO, Be a YES man!
let's admit it the QR25DE engine is really reliable and responsive but since this ain't dual vvt or GDI, it would have been better paired with the xtronic cvt if it was.
