So totoo pala yun commercial ng Xtrail na may robots sa gulong.

I'm sure mas matipid ang 4x2 mode sa fuel. Sayang yun extra power sa 2 more wheels for city driving.

Ok thanks for the info Sir Sachiel, somebody told me kasi mas matipid sa gas 4x4 para kasi sa stop and go dahil hindi hirap daw i push yung body dahil apat na gulong ang humahatak rather than 2 which would consume more gas daw to compensate for the extra power needed to move the car. though still skeptic nga ako sa explanation nya just wanted to confirm from 4x4 users

Definitely 4x2 gives better mileage. The xtrail feels a lot quicker/ lighter in this mode. In 4x4 mode, it feels a lot more planted. I only use 4x4 when it's raining and I'm driving fast, or when alanganin yung traction, like when moving from one surface to another (like from asphalt to dirt or vice versa). Haven't gone off road on 4x4 lock.
Wala ako napansin na robot na lumabas sa gulong. False advertising!

The guy who told you that must know a lot of car myths. Like revving the car before shutting it down, etc.

Was just being sarcastic, if you're getting my point. Anyway, your question has been answered. It's generally true for most cars, leaving it in 4x2 mode will give better fc
