sir drey, sa tingin mo umubra kaya ang 2.5tdci ng ford ranger sa strada ? alin kaya mas powerful sa 2 ang 2.5tdci ranger o 2.5L strada ?

kung titingnan natin sa specs mas malakas ang ranger kesa strada . in actual di kopa nasubukan . pero ang 3.0 hilux ay di uurungan ng 2.5 ranger dahil nasubukan na namin.

Strada 2.5L - 0-100 kph is 13.39 seconds
Strada 3.0L - 0-100 kph is no data
Ranger 3.0L - 0-100 kph is 11.8 seconds
Ranger 2.5L - 0-100 kph is 13.7 seconds
Hilux 3.0L - 0-100 kph is 12.09 seconds
Hilux 2.7L Gasoline - 0-100 kph is 9.68 seconds
Hilux 2.5L - 0-100 kph is 17.68 seconds
DMax 3.0L - 0-100 kph is 15.09 seconds

Pero the 3.0L Ranger is the king of 0-100 kph in CRDi's as of now.

i agree wala naman talagang sinabi ang isuzu dmax engine kumpara sa mitsu strada, kahit yang dmax kakasahan ko with a 2nd gen. strada habulan kahit gaano ka layo. wag nalang ang new strada dahil sa kangkongan lang pupulutin ang dmax.

Hi blue_gambit, may I refer you to my post on this thread p.60, post #1190. There I recounted my experience with the floodwaters of Espana ave. My strada was barely 2 days old. The water then was at least 2 feet deep because I cannot see the center island which was submerged. Even jeepneys were hesitant to cross the flood at that time and were waiting for the floodwaters to recede.

Top Speed isn't evrything.

Tingnan mo mga Cargo Trucks, Low Speed pero malakas sa hatakan.

Tingnan mo mga Heavy Equipment, angbabagal pero anglalakas din sa hatakan. In short, top speed is not enough to judge a car. Baka naman kasi the Gear Ratios are designed for Low Speed lang.

Okay sana Ranger. But I dont find the quality of materials good and accessing the pick-up takes some effort.

Did you have to check for anything after fording the deep waters? di kaya may mga parts na pinasok ng tubig?
