Mga Sirs,
tanong lang po, Paano ba natin malaman na ang sasakyan ay loaded na ABS-EBD? Ang Mits Strada 2007 meron ba nyan?
Maraming salamat...
Sir,
Btw, this is my favorite part every test drive I do in an ABS equipped vehicle.
Here are the steps to really find out.
1) During test drive, drive your way into a straight line with no/little vehicles. There should be no vehicle tailing you.
2) Speed up to 60 kph or so.
3) Then press the brake very hard.
4) If no slippage of tires, its a sign that ABS is working during braking.
I dont know with the EBD though.

Anybody knows where to have door guards (not sure kung yun nga ang tawag dun sa long rubber thingies on the side of the door panels?) installed for the strada? GLX kasi yung strada ko so it doesn't have that and sabi sa Mitsu Marcos Hiway wala pa sila nun. Sa carryboy ang available lang kasi yung body cladding which I don't really fancy.
Thanks in advance for any info.
Just curious about that long rubber thingy you are mentioning...Is this available in the GLS? Coz you mentioned 'GLX kasi yung strada ko so it doesn't have that'.
Is this the Blue Foam pasted on the panels or is it the tubing which is placed at the edges of the doors. Sometimes these are black or chrome in color.

I think hes refering to the long white strip below the door handles.

BAsta make sure may ABS sya ha... Dont try it sa no-ABS cars... Nakakatakot yan!
Ang 2.5L Strada may ABS + Dual Airbags. Same with the specs of early Strada's that came with 2.5L DiD. The only difference is that the 3.2L has LSD which is more superior for off-road work.
If I were to choose, I'd settle for the 2.5L. Rationale? Its cheaper to maintain and more fuel efficient. For off-road work, I'll just fit it with LSD, or Air lockers.

Just came back from Catbalogan, Samar, land trip with my strada. Logged in about 2k kms back and forth, around 500kms really bad roads, wala pa rin akong problema sa steering. Bale pang 3rd ko nang biyahe doon. Hihintaying ko bang may problema yung steering bago ko mapapalitan? Matanong ko nga kung may official statement sila?

hiya,
makukuha ko palang strada ko black 4X4 GLS 3.2 this sept 13, 2007 any tips mga pre kung ano dapat ko i check before i take it out from mitsubishi motors, and yung pinalgay ko yung accessories sa tail light or brake light na parang chrome plated tapos may visor kulay black kinuha ko
*Lovemyride,
I guess theres really nothing that you have to check, since its brandnew and its under warranty. Just don't forget to take all the manuals, receipts, etc, para di kayo magpabalik balik.
Magkano sir yung accesories na pinalagay niyo? Gusto ko sana yung sportlid with integrated roll bar. Any ideas how much?
Advise ko lang. I-check mo lang yung ride height left and right. Meron kasing napuna yung isang strada owner na hindi pantay yung ride height niya. Parang mas mababa yung left kesa right. May mga pinalitan sa suspension niya. The acceptable difference shouldn't be more than 1 cm.
Kuha ka lang ng tape measure at sukatin mo from the ground to the apex of the fender, comparing between the left front and the right front and between the left rear and the right rear. Make sure that the ground is level.
Yung sa akin may difference na 0.5-0.7 which is acceptable.
