OT lang:
The Strada Club is planning a fun run to Baguio with a 4x4 starter clinic/light off-roading and activities for the whole family. Tentative date is from November 29-December 1, 2008 (long weekend). Those who want to join are very welcome to do so! We will keep you posted for further developments. Drive inspired!Last edited by ThePatriarch; September 15th, 2008 at 11:54 AM.

We were supposed to do some offroad trailing during the weekend but ended up going to Subic after my wife suddenly came up with the idea of going there and my kids right away agreed to their mom's idea
. The ride and trip to Subic was great. The SCTEX is really nice. 100 KPH maximum speed at the SCTEX is just too slow though. It was rainy when I took this photo last Saturday noon. The SCTEX almost looks like some highways in China during its infancy stage.
SCTEX:
A highway in China. Took this photo while driving around with my Swift:

This is inside Zoobic. Parked the Strada then we transferred to a jeep that is used to drive us around an enclosed area where the tigers are being kept.
A tiger being fed by the zoo-keeper while inside the jeep.
Monkeys along the road at Subic. There are warning signs not to feed the monkeys.
The trip to Subic was really great. On or off road, the Strada's ride is just superb.

anybody... if I upgrade my tires how about the TPMS, is it still functional. Because what I know the sensors are located in the original tire itself.
Please help...

sir i'll try to explain it the simplest way i can okay, if there are questions just let me know. sayang i forgot to take pictures when i did it a few months ago... but here goes...
- the tpms sensor is connected to the tire valve itself and not the rim as some stores are inclined to saying. if you will look closely at the valve body, you'll notice that it looks like a nut(as in bolt and nut) this is a size 11mm(you will need a deep socket to remove this, try not to use an open wrench unless you want to risk damaging the nut, valve and scraping your rim).
- is you want to just change tires and keep the same rim, no problems for you. just make sure to tell the tire changer to be very careful when unmounting the old tyre and mounting the new one, as the body of the sensor is only around 1-2inches away from the lip of the rim.
- if you want to also replace the rim, do the afor mentioned step, then get a 11mm deep socket and remove the nut on the outside of the valve. do remember that this is an aluminum body, kaya medyo ingat lang!!!
- whith the nut removed, just push it out, and it'll drop off. then install it to your new mags, just doing the entire process backwards. just don't overtighten lest you want to break the valve body.
any questions or clarifications just let me know.
sorry if this is the best that i can do
