guys with AT...am just wondering if normal na hindi smooth ang shifting...may tug during shifting with slight noise

I own a 2007 mitsu strada 3.2 A/T. I experienced that thug sound during the early months when I first got my strada. Eventually, the thug sound became less pronounced in 6 months and eventually went away after a year. The shifting is now smooth. On your concern if this is normal, I think normal lang yun.

Salamat sa input Sir cheeky! Sa akin rin GLS Sport 3.2L MT Black. Yun sa akin propose gamitin eh Motul synthetic oil... di sila pumayag... mag sa sign daw ko ng waiver!

Sir xtr sultan swerte ka... bat naman non synthetic oil pinagamit sa yo ay recco ng Mitsu ay synthetic oil pag ka alam ko! Correct me if i'm wrong.

gensan casa has 2 type ordinary and synthetic oil. pag ordinary lng every 5t k palit oil and filter. pag synt oil every 10k ang oil pero filter palitan pa rin every 5k. may advice din sa akin na ok yon ordinary basta yon oil na gawa nila palitan on time. mas palagi bago mas better , kaysa long time palit.

-ok ang visibility sa gabi, kahit walang mga post lights.
-hindi ako masisilaw sa gabi sa ilaw ng mga nakakasalubong ko, specially pag nkahigh ilaw nila.
-ung bagay sa strada ko.

sir, meron pong armrest ang GLS. ang GLX po wla.
hindi po yata available un sa GLX as an add on,
kkailanganin mong palitan ung buong upuan qng gusto mo
ng armrest.

The 2010 Strada GLS and GLS Sport have adopted the console box similar to that found found in the current Montero Sport- Yes, the armrest is present. The GL and GLX variants continue with the (still functional) console box only. I'm not too sure if the Casas can get this as an additional dealer option. Maybe sir Xave can answer that... hehehe...

about to buy a strada.. ask ko lang if i need the 4x4 2.5gls version.. would the 2.5glx version serve my purpose kung purely city driving lang.. gusto ko lang meron gamit pag rainy season sa konting city flood.. yun kasing 4x4 na 2.5 tingin ko mas mabigat for the same engine at kung di nman gamit.. sayang lang.. ok na din ba mga amenities ng 4x2? kumusta hatak ng 4x2 2.5? 'appreciate any advise.. thanks

sir kung mostly city driving lang naman ang gamit mo sa strada, i suggest mag GLX ka na lang. kayang kaya na ng 2.5L na 4X2 ang lubak at baha ng metro manila.

i'm not sure kung anong difference ng interior ng GLX sa GLS. sa exterior naman is yung bigger and wider wheels/tires, fender flares and yung power rear windshield (GLS and GLS Sport). yung wheels/tires saka fender flares madami naman mabibilhan and mas makakamura ka pa compared dun sa difference ng price ng GLS sa GLX.

I agree with sir pransis. If the purpose of your truck is for mostly urban use, then the GLX variant is for you. The 4x4 and 4x2 variants of the 2.5L strada have the same HP and torque rating, so pareho lang sila ng hatak.

If, however, there is an outdoor inkling deep inside you, and the price difference between the 2 variants is not an object, then go for the 4x4. One cannot pay for the feeling of confidence that the 4x4 will give you once you are occassionally or inadvertently placed in situations where all 4 wheels are needed.

Lastly, I highly suggest that before you buy your strada, test drive both variants. HTH.

i'm planning to buy wider wheels and tires for my strada GLX. after i get these, where is it ok to buy fender flares? whether silver grey color like the originals on GLS's or same color as the body. saan ba ok bumili at magpakabit na rin?

sir we just got our 2010 mitsu strada black last may 27... then pinalagyan din po namin ng flares sa carryboy banawe. i think its better na silver ung flares nyo than the same color of your car.. kasi kung silver ung flares nyo mas maeemphasize ung wider and bigger tires nyo.. IMO lang po.. by the way im new here...
