Had to shift to 4L as the incline was so steep. It doesn't show on the vid how steep the slope was but it was really steep. Going down that incline also had to use 4L 1st gear to keep the engine braking at maximum.

Yeah. It looks kinda steep and slippery because of the rocks. Not sure if deflating the tire could have made it more easier.

I hope your wife was not too close behind the truck while you were trying to climb. Can't imagine your truck slipping down out of control.

Deflating the tire may work like what is being done on sand as it does provide more contact patch to the ground so maybe it will work. Not sure though

.

At one point my wife came dangerously close. She was at the side of the road though and the Strada has strong brakes.

OT: i had a response for tancho_kuhaku but i lost it due to slowness of tsikot- sabay nag page cannot be displayed... haiz...

but nonetheless, there is no need for any add on device or fluid additives as the CRDi system is advanced already as horsepower ratings has been raised throughout the years- a good example is the 4D56- from a low 72hp when it first came out in the L300 in 1990 (L200 in 1991) all the way to its recent CRDi add-on to 136hp in the 2006-present Strada.
