September 16th, 2008 09:29 PM #7083mga sirs, need help
the fear that ive been avoiding when i got my unit had finally came...
unbalanced level on my car
leaning towards the driver side, as previously disucussed on the previous pages regarding the defect , would any body help me on what to do on my unit , its been only a month since ive got this.
1) would MMC replace the necessary parts in order to restore the level of my ride free of charge?
2) would it be possible that the said replacement would push thru in the province at no cost on my side?
3) what would be the possible materials to be replaced on my ride.
sensya po mga sir kasi malalim pa kasi bulsa ko e kasi kabibili ko palang nga unit nag i ipon uli

hmm... good question i must say...
firstly, nice meeting you po and welcome to the thread!
i havent seen any Global Standard of Certification to make bullbars or nudgebars compatible with airbag sensor. but i do quote carryboy in their brochures saying that their products claim to be compatible with the airbag sensors by the ASE or Automotive Safety Engineering, Australia. you can try checking it out with them first.
Please note: Im not in anyway associated with carryboy since they are the ones i know who are heavily advertising their products. But if you do get a bull/nudge bar, tell them to treat me out for lunch... joke!

sir, sa diamond motors ako nagpaayos in j.vargas and matagal bago nayari. you have to place your order asap because parts are sea freighted from thailand. they will replace your front springs and molye. if you are under warranty and did not change anything which would void it then it must be free. i was also worried about money and 3 months bago nagkaganyan yung strada ko. they will say na ok pa daw and tolerable naman yung height uneveness kasi daw 10mm and tolerable difference but don't take no for an answer. usually, magkaiba ang bagsak ng height from front to rear. the patriarch was lucky na nagpantay sakanya after nila palitan. mine was never fixed and is still leaning over although tolerable na nga daw and they showed me the height difference. what i did in a local talyer was replace the right and left spring and for now, the ride is much harder and not as comfy as before and hindi parin ganun ka pantay but better than when it got out of the factory. ganyan talaga. wala tayong magagawa.

*nanpaultan, hello there po.
IMO, i think, as far as MMPC and its franchised dealers are concerned, there is a process for warrantable and quality claims such as this. please go to the dealer where you bought your truck so they can take note of this and i believe that they will explain what needs to be done. Probably the coil and leaf springs will be focused regarding this concern. If you are not satisfied with their response, there are contact details found at your service manual provided for you that will be addressed to MMPC.
i hope this helps sir. thanks.
also, taga saan po kayo sa visayas sir?

September 17th, 2008 03:43 PM #7088sir nanpaultan - we share the same sentiment po
. But i got mine two weeks ago pa lang pero pansin mo na unlevel na height nya at the back.
sir siomai- So 10mm is that maximum tolerable difference? usually, magkaiba ang bagsak ng height from front to rear - ilan ba sir sukat ng difference ng front and rear sa unit mo?
Want to share to all strada club members my problem.
Had my 1000km service yesterday at Motorplaza Baguio, ok naman ginawa change oil (mineral) and oil filter then checkup. Saka inireklamo ko na rin sa kanila yung unlevel height and squecking sound sa likod ng unit ko.
They fixed the squeking sound niluwagan nila both U bolt sa may banda gitna ng leafsprings. But what made me disappointed was when the service advisor said that "he is not aware of any issues regarding the unlevel height and said they haven't received any memo or newsletter concerns to that problem from the plant". Wala man lang ginawa para icheck yung unit kung bakit ganun ikinatwiran pa na normal lang daw dahil mabigat yung fuel tank.
Casa made the measurement, yung unit ko difference of 1.5 inches sa rear and .5 inch/5cm sa front. Any suggestion po from you, para aksyunan ng casa dito sa Baguio problem ko. Many thanks po!
