question po sa mga nagpapa service,
but TSCP members can bring their own oil sa Diamond Motors without being charged of any fee... di ko lang sure sa ibang dealers kung ganun sila kabait hehehe... im speaking from my own personal experience
BNKK,
Not a prob, tungkol naman sa pag-gamit ng Strada. Also, living vicariously siguro ako. Sarap ng road trip adventure na yan.
Kung after ng 1k PMS naman, I dont see any cause for concern. By that time na shake down mo na ang Strada mo, problema na lang kung nalimutan ng casa lagyan ng langis or other fluids...or loose electrical connections (battery, aircon or lamps).
The usual baon naman: flashlight, tow cable or rope, a set of wrenches in addition to the tool kit, EWD, perhaps a can of fix-a-flat, air pump; Madali naman bumili ng bottled water; your favorite snacks - limited ang selection sa ferry at para din sa mga batamg probinsya na makikita ninyo (kung ako will also bring beef jerky) ; diatabs, tylenol, ponstan and tissue; Cellular phone and charger; extra copies of LTO OR & CR, health card and cash.

Kapag nasa major town ka, always top-up your Strada fuel tank sa mga busy fuel stations (sa mga Big 3 stations).
Exciting yan. Remember to bring your camera and post pics of your trip with your Strada.![]()
You can try po sa autoline dito sa makati - I got my KCE-433 there for P1,700.
I use an ipod classic and with the cable, SQ is of course miles ahead of the iTrip and similar devices.
There will be some minor baklas involved in the install as the cable uses ports at the back of your HU - still, it's generally painless and will take at most a few minutes. Basic operation using the HU controls or the steering remote is fairly easy, but searching does get somewhat tedious simply because there are so many genres, artists, songs, albums, composers, etc etc in ipods. Oh, and unless I missed a step you can't really use the steering remote for searching.
Sana po nakatulong![]()
Si lomi king talaga. Sikat! Hehe.
Regarding this never-ending noisy leaf spring issue, I have observed mine for the past 2 years, and the squeaking usually comes from the 2nd U bolt (tama ba term?) of the left leaf spring, which after spraying WD40 in this part, the squeaking is gone. I assume this part is there to align the leaf springs. Here's a picture (taken inside the left rear wheel well) of the U bolt after several attempts by the casa to apply grease, but the squeaking still comes back.
What I usually do is to have the lowermost leaf spring aligned with the rest (c/o suking mekaniko). Better to lift the body a bit para mas madali. Mas matagal na tahimik, until ma-misalign ulit sya (usually when offroading). Sa dulo nito (in front) naka-attach yung 2nd U bolt na sobrang dikit yung outer portion sa leaf spring, thus the squeak.
Hope this helps. Baka lang gusto ninyo subukan. Thanks.
Teka, may tagas na pala shocks ko. Tsk tsk.

take note of the clearance between the sides of teh leafs and the inside of the wraps, notice how little the tolerance is? to lessen the noise simply pry apart the sides of teh wrap just a little to give it more clearance when the leafs are playing(rebounding), this method is a whole lot less messier than applying grease or wd40. and it will give you a lot longer time of noise less riding.

okay lang itong misaligned leaf, this is a not an issue.

By looking at the last photo, I think equipped with separator/wear pads (teflon or hard plastic) ang dulo ng leaf spring ninyo. Function po nyan is to protect the bottom surface of upper leaf against metal to metal wear at para ma improve ang riding comfort.
Not sure kung meron din po kayo problem sa squeaking pero just want you guys to try an easy solution?
Depende na lang kung consider nyo ito as easy pero it involves jacking up your Strada as high as you could.
Good day to all BOSBs. I went to Subic 2 weeks ago and when I came back there was a sudden decrease in power in my Strada. Whenever I released the gas pedal the car would jerk wildly and kahit na 4000 rpm na bitin pa rin sa hatak. The following day I brought the unit to Mitsubishi-Valle Verde and they told me that there was a problem with the suction control valve. Until now, they haven't finished fixing my unit. I called again this afternoon and they said that there was another problem with the air flow sensor. I don't know what's taking them so long to fix the problem and on top of that the service/updates are really terrible. Kung di pa ako tatawag di pa nila sasabihin kung ano yung problema. Have any of you experience the same problem with the SCV + air flow sensor? and if you did how long did it take for you to have your unit fixed? Thanks in advance.
