di kaya rocky/ nasa DRY soil ka nag turn sa steering wheel mo, maybe sa small rocks/sand or soil rubbing against your tires, ganito kasi terrain sa school parking namin.

these pics were taken after the 12hour typhoon that struck southern cebu or thats just what i call it since sobrang lakas ng ulan, tried and tested my strada sa baha na lumapas sa step board kaya parin! then after the storm took these "dirty pics" hehe

    contrast

also the tires were great laki ng difference sa comfort and maybe due to the nitro that i filled it with.also one thing that i noticed is parang it produces more body roll parang mas malayo ma-abot pag mag neutral ako hehe
    salamat

pare ano ang profile ng gulong mo... yung mags pa is stock from glx?

Anyone experienced this with their truck? What is that sound? Is it a warranty issue?

    TIA
I think that's the exact sound most of us with steering column problem experienced. Sa umpisa, you feel it once in a while. Tapos later on, it becomes more frequent and noticeable. I had mine replaced at 5,000km. Up to now, ok naman yung steering column. 27,000km na.

    question lang,

Hello everyone, I am new here in the forum so please bear with me with my questions. I already have a reservation for a dark gray mica Strada GLX. I will be getting it next week. Here are my questions:

-I plan to have the edge of the door windows painted black just like in the higher variants. I plan to do it right after i get the truck since I know of a small but good talyer that can do it. Is it a good idea?

-Also, naninipisan ako sa stock na 16/80/205 na gulong nya. Can I fit a much wider tire to its stock mags like 245?

-How much will it cost me if i have my stock mags and tires traded for a slighty used stock GLS Sport variant of 17/65/245? Will the ride comfort and fuel efficiency be affected?

-Where can I get the best deal to have fender flares and roller lid installed. When I say best deal, I mean affordable but good quality. A car accessory shop offered me 9k for a body color fender flares and 33k for a Carryboy roller lid. Ok ba yun?

That's it for now. I hope someone, specially the gurus out there, can help me. Thanks alot guys!

That portion is known as the Window Sash and Yes, painting it black will definitely give it that Upscale look (except for trucks in Black mismo). This is what MMPC product planners should have included in the first place! If we are to look closely on how it was applied at the GLS and GLS Sport models, it looks like a clear paint finish rather than the textured finish for other Mitsu models. I would highly recommend to have a closer look at the display units or units being serviced if there are any recent changes. I say that you MUST do this first before your intention of installing the visors in the future!

Based on what i have seen with the other Strada Club members, it is possible to even install up to 265/70/16 either in all-terrain tires or highway terrain tires... 245 is still ok as this will help you give that stuffed look (malaman kung baga) as well as more grip on the road. Tancho_Kuhaku is a good example.

Some tire shops out there might have a set or two since some of them had an upgrade. But from my location, i can't pinpoint who and where they are exactly. But lets wait for the response of the others. They might be able to tell you where... The CASA might be able to help you with that... but the price per set might be high. the big question is "where are you based"?

This is where TSCP can help you in one of many ways, my friend...

Fender flares and Lids are one of the MOST common aftermarket accessories in the likes of the Strada GL and GLX. At this point, I would like to invite you to any of the club's EyeBall (EB) or gatherings so you can meet them and ask questions on what to do... Some of them have the accessories bolted on already so you will be able to VISUALIZE how it will look like on your truck-in-the-making... hehehe... (i hope this answer can convince you to join us... hehehe...)

My dealer will be Diamond Motors in Cainta, Marcos Highway. I kinda feel bad kasi feeling ko di masyadong maasikaso dun kasi I've been requesting for a test drive for several weeks na and hanggang ngayon wala pa.

I might go to Banawe or Evangelista to scout for slightly used stock 245/65/17 Strada stock mags and tires.

Should i worry about the paintjob on the Strada once I have the window sash painted black? I think a semi flat black will be nice.

Will painting it black affect the factory warranty on paint?
I've been thinking of doing that too.

My unit is at 11,000km but have noticed it even before I reached 5000Km.

I have raised it with Diamond C5 and was told by my SA that a report has been filed with the factory. Was not sure if I should press them for action. Now I know what to do.

    Thanks again.

I talked to someone form Mitsubishi and she told me that painting it would be fine as long as it will not cause rust.

welcome to the strada threads sir nanofossil!

For the test drive, medyo mahihirapan ka since ang taas ng demand for stradas lately and lagi silang out stock... kung meron man sila dun, naka-reserve na and for releasing na sa owner. so they would not want to risk that unit. two years ago, before I bought my strada sa Marcos Highway may GL sila na nakastandby dun. they agreed for me to drive around inside the dealer's grounds and my wife immediately gave her thumbs up after our 'mini' test drive. so nag-order na ako ng GLX and in a few days, I was able to bring my strada home... ahhh, I can still remember the feeling...

hope to see you soon! drive inspired!

So are you saying pare na I don't need to test drive it and that you can vouche for it? Actually tama ka, I was there a couple of days ago drooling over a parked GLS model, after a few days iba na ang nakapark. May nakapag sabi sa akin na nakuha na raw maski yung Model unit nila. I hope you can post some pics of your GLX. Thanks pare.
