Sir, nung nagloko SCV ng Strada ko, yung loss of power kasabay eh drop ng rpm. Pero sa iyo, umaakyat pa ng 4000rpm tapos wala hatak. This could be due to another problem. Alam ko may nagkaproblema sa hose clamp, di kaya eto problem. Or dirty air flow sensor?
Baka kaya natatagalan kasi walang available parts. I remember yung sa kin, the casa ordered the SCV and it took 2-3weeks before it arrived. Same with the steering column.

Di naman sir nano, point&shoot lang yan kaya kaya ko i-position kahit ano angle. No need to look at the LCD.

Hehe. Dapat tanggal wheel/tire. Again, I've narrowed down/pinpointed the source of the squeak sa 2ng U bolt/wrap by trial & error.

Medyo malaki kailangan budget dyan, sir arvin. Kasabay nyan lift kit +/- bigger tire/wheel combo. Hehe. Kayaba na lang kaya muna?

i think the driver's factor play, depend on how he start and how fast his shifting on gear and how he rev up.

you are right there. but i think that's not u-bolt. just spray wd40 on that particular area. applying grease is not advisable cz it damage the rubber insulation. any petroleum can damage rubber.

i think they have to check your electrical system either there's a grounded causing to failure of your sensor. maybe later even your module might be affected. if not, your module have problem.

all the problems and complaints that i've been reading lately in this forum is starting to get me worried, to think that the strada is already in the middle of its life cycle since it was released in 06, then they have come out with a facelift and yet the problems still come up.... i hope the people who poststheir problems are just a smallpercentage of the total strada users out there.

i think you're unit is matic, it does not mean that you can engage your front drive on pavement. it might damage your front differential cause we are part time 4x4. not full time like outlander system or all wheel drive

the noisy leafsprings are the most problematic on the strada..not a safety factor but a noise pollutant. but the noise is not such a big deal, but still a problem. i am glad i dont have that.

    [quote=RTS;1376172]Kerosine- a foe or friend ??

I've been in petroleum transportation for quite sometime(exxon)and it is acceptable to mix small amount of kerosine to diesel, in fact will improve the octane of the diesel. Im not asking you to do this but it is my practice to every full tank of diesel I topped off(70ltrs) I mixed 1 & half ltr of kerosine to imroved the ignition properties, This is my 3rd gen pick up & Im doing these eversince . These was not my idea but suggested by petroleum engrs. provided that you stay w/in the proportion. Jets are using kerosine(layman term) as their fuel , we used to called it turbo jet or JP1 fuel, only it passed higher standard of filtering process & moist removal plus anti static additives. For your peace of mind you can ask the Techinical expert of MITSU .

Copy sir. Are you sure we need to improve the octane rating on our diesel fuel? I thought diesel fuel is rate by cetane. Is it applicable to the crdi engine?

thank you for the information, i just wanted to be sure because when i asked the SA, he wasn't sure either. im familiar with the 4wd system of mitsubishi, i was just curious and made me doubtful because it used to be called super select and now they use easy select. thank you for the clarification. i also want to note thatthe montero spost's 4wd system blinks first when you engage it,same for the gen2 and gen 3 pajeros, while on the strada, no more blinking, the 4wd just lights when you engage it.

Most new 4WD systems can be used on paved roads when set to 4H.

not necessarily true, i believe it is only the strada( for the pick up market in the philippines), is the only pickup that has a shift on the fly 4h that can be used for highway driving; the rest of the bunch, are for unpaved rough roads only. hail to the strada.

Just to concur on this one...

when I was in the dealership having my ride detailed.....I happen to have a chat with 2 thundercat brothers....who just had their 3 day old strada being detailed also...and they said that they were able to run on 4H til 120Kph....

kas may nanghiram daw na tinesting yung 4x4 tapos nung ibalik sakanila inde naka 2H tinanong ko kung may naging problem....wala naman daw problema except for the consumption...which is expected naman...hehe

Im just not sure about the other pickups in the market on being it not able to engage 4x4 on pavement.....But IMO I think pwede din siguro sila kasi puro indash na di pihit na yung 4x4 nila and inde na kambyo which I think more appropriate on onroad application.... Im not sure though...anybody can coonfirm?

so how was it? since the day you started adding the kerosene?
