Great Looking Ride Sir Partz...how is the roll up lid. How does it fit and does it leak when it rains?

I experienced it again... i was driving around 90 kph and hit bumpy section of the road, i almost LOST CONTROL when the vehicle swayed and almost as if it change course when it hit the uneven surface.

I feel the the steering wheel vibrates too much especially on rough roads, makes me think my former strada 2001 is far better on rough roads. the steering is also unstable, meaning it moves left right left right on rough roads. unlike with our other rides that the front wheels and the steering seems so planted and stable...

does anybody noticed this or is this someting wrong with my unit?

    please, i need your feedback.
Try not to drive that fast on small Philippine highways because our roads are very unpredictable.

The problem with rack and pinion steering is you kinda feel road input more. It gives much more precise handling on pavement, but in rough terrain, there's more feedback from the road, so more vibrations to your steering wheel, making you feel some sort of instability.

I experience this too on rough roads so I would think it's normal and have accepted one of my ride's limitations. I've learned to adjust, ika nga.

My everest, on the other hand, has the recirculating ball type and it gives much less feedback from the road, therefore less vibration to the steering wheel. Makes me drive more recklessly on rough roads. But the steering feel on pavement is little vague.

I guess you can't have it all.

Try to check also your tire pressure.

Better yet, upgrade to thicker tires. More rubber planted, more stable.

If not yet satisfied, then there's OME.
