hi strada braders,

my cousin is getting a strada 4x2 GLX this coming wednesday from citimotors las pinas. he wants to install a fender flares but not from the casa. what shop can you recommend that does them at cheaper cost? he also wanted to upgrade the tires by retaining the stock rims. what is the correct tire size upgrade that makes the strada looks in proportion with the fender flares? is there a shop that accepts tire trade in of a newly bought ride?

I'm also waiting for my GLX from that dealership pare. I guess next month pa ang dating nito. Anyway regarding the fender flares, Miggyboy in caloocan will be a wise choice. I plan to bring my unit there as soon as it it released to me. Very reasonable price.

after i got my unit from mitsu balintawak, i went straight to miggyboy to have the fenders installed... di naman ako masyado excited... hehe

Its not true, after reading this post a couple of days we tried it last night at sctex comin from tarlac.. Pinagtabi tabi namen montero & navara, pareho naman speedometer reading, we were running 100kph.. Iba lang kilometer reading after reseting both the trip meter from where we came from, maybe because the montero was '17 rim compared to the navara's '16 rim.. We also tried racing the 3.2 Monty & 2.5 Navara.. From a rolling start of 120kph tapos plus 3 cars ahead yung montero, the navara overtook the montero when the montero reached 150kph.. We used a 2 way radio on both cars to signal the start of the race.. the fastest we tried on the navara was 210 kph while the 3.2 monty's topspeed we've tried is 195 kph ..

just want to affirm sir JPG's post I can attest that the speedo of navara is almost as accurate( more or less +2-3 on the dial), we,ve tested the navara along side with my mit evo 4 equipped with scanguage and gps which when your talking about actual speed is the most accurate in my opinion, the evo went ahead stayed at 190kmh para subukan ko habulin to test the navara, after a few seconds we were head to head, my speedo reading was playing with 192-193kmh, dont want to push it pa kasi 1500km palang ang KM reading ko, maybe soon

MCS in Evangelista, GTD in Banaue. Pero sobra mura ng trade-in price ng stock tires. Syempre, business is business.

I met someone here in the forum who is selling his almost unused set of 2008 oem gls mags and tires. I told him that i will be buying them as soon as i get my unit hopefully first week of October. He is such a nice a person that he agreed without any earnest money. God Bless him... totoo ngang mababait ang mga BOSB's!

Pardon my ignorance, but what will strada benefit from such filter as compared to its existing one. What effect does it have on the performance and most specially the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. Thanks!
