Hopefully I will be getting my unit next week, can you advice me kung anong magandang tint na ikabit. Balak ko sana super dark but now your saying na nadidiliman ka, anong shade ang maganda? nagfufull tint ba ang casa ng windshield?

firstly, i hope the dealer can fulfill your desire for getting the strada by next week.

in most cases, they SHOULD be able to do a full glass tint for the front windshield and just about any other one-piece glass installed in your car.

hmmm... regarding the shade, it is a case to case basis... on what is best for your vision... perhaps a light shade of 3M magic tint will do... it will give a perfect contrast once you have the door sash painted black...

especially if you are using eyeglasses po. Do take note that reversing the Strada will require extra care on your part since i presume that you will be dealing with an longer vehicle. good luck on that po.

you might want to wait for the advice of the others as well... HTH.

3M has 3 types ata. Each type has 3 different shades. I'm planning to downgrade mine to medium black sa side/rear, tapos light yung front. Eto yung type na pag tiningnan mo from the outside black pa rin ang shade, hindi yung parang chrome/white ang reflection. Yun yata yung magic ang tawag. Di ko kasi gusto yun. Pero maganda yun sa gabi, di madilim from the inside. Tama ba pinagsasabi ko.

Update lang po... They inspected my fuel filter and noted brownish-greenish 'lumot-like' deposits in it. Grabe dumi pala ng diesel natin. Next plan is change fuel filter, clean fuel tank/line, change SCV. Yung SCV daw covered ng warranty. Problema lang is full tank ngayon, kaya baka ibalik ko na lang sa 30k PMS ko, probably mga 2 weeks from now. Sana di umabot sa injectors...
Another advise nila is palagyan ko ng stockings yung nozzle nung fuel pump sa gasoline station tuwing magpakarga. Para additional filter. Hehe. What do you think?

Is the GLS really worth the extra 200K compared to the GLX?

Does the GLX come equipped with LSD? Has anyone tried fitting their GLX with aftermarket LSD?

1 step lighter than super dark bro.....mahihirapan ka lang sa superdark pag gabi at umuulan...unless sobrang sharp ng eyesight mo bro.....sa umaga walang problema ang super dark...hindi pa hirap aircon mo.

Another thing you can do is superdark mo rear side and rear windows tapos one step lighter ka sa windshield and window ng driver and front passenger.

AFAIK, ang difference lang is yung magic, pag tinamaan ng ilaw parang chrome/mirrorized...pero yung darkness properties nila halos same lang

For me sobrang worth it talaga based on my unit 2009.
1. 4x4
2. TMPS
3. Climate Control a/c
4. Multi Information Display
5. Leather Wrap Steering Wheel for gls
6. gls seat is spill proof , glx seat is fabric
7. Tire Size
8. Rear Bumper made of hard plastic for gls and separated to 3 pieces, while glx rear bumper is one piece and made of fiber glass. (pag nabangga kahit 1 side lang, buong bumper ang papalitan)
9. Fender Flare
10. Sunglass Holder

AFAIK, SCV lang ang issue sa engine, but If you look at it the SCV is not the problem its the quality of fuel here in our country is the culprit.

Far from life threatening sir, Like Pluto to Sun far....

walang connection sa brake ang steering column what so ever...

most of the people I talk to nga eh naririnig na yun matgal na matagal na but iniisnab lang dahil tinatamad magpapalit at pumunta sa casa

but if you have a very sensitive ears just like mine maiirita ka talaga...ehehe

thanks av8or, i know naman that with the minimal increase in the total price, i can't expect a major upgrade. that's the reason why i want to look at an actual glx variant para i can decide if i should get a 2010 model or should just settle for the 2009. but i really liked the center floor console box of the gls. i just hope that it is also found in the glx. i talked to jessa of citimotors, she said that the variant i like will be available this week.

i really intend to join your prestigious club, kaya lang gusto ko sana kasama ko na ang mistress ko (my 2010 glx, patented yon ah).
