went to mitsubishi dealer a while ago. nagpa compute kami ng strada gls at gls sport. nasa 300k+ na pala ang dp for all units. kahapon nag browse ako sa sulit nabasa ko 220k lang all in na. pagtingin ko sa computation 220k ang dp den plus lto, chatel, insurance etc ayun na ang 300k+. bat ganun? iba-iba ba talaga sa mga dealers?
btw interisado dad ko sa gls kasi mababa ang konsumo. ano sa tingin nyo? ganyan ba kalaki ang difference ng fc nila? eto kasi dad ko tinitignan ang numero takot sa 3.2 lol. hndi naman jan naka depende eh. may 2.5 nga na mas malakas pa kesa 3.2, i mean, its not just on the numbers.![]()

Thanks for the quick reply sir. I had it checked at the casa twice already. They failed to fix the alignment during my first visit, so they tried again on my 2nd complaint. They did fix the swerving but my steering wheel is not normally positioned at the center during straight runs. Its favored a little to the left.
Another thing sir, do your brakes emit a low tone metal-metal sound during the first few minutes of your drive and when its raining or the whether is cold?
Assuming all things are equal...definitely a bigger displacement will consume more fuel. Bigger engine means higher output.
Just for argument sake, take an average monthly fuel consumption for the following:
2.5L engine = 3,000 pesos
3.2L engine = 2.5L x 20% more = 3,600 pesos
that's only an additional of 7,200 pesos in 1 year.
Don't you think your Dad can afford it? of course there are other costs like oils and filters.
Magkano na ba qouted prices nila for GLS sport?
note:20% figure is an assumption

so ano po yung average fc ng 3.2?
eto po quote samin:
GLS sport: (m/t)
price: 1,230,000
dp: 20% -> 246,000
discount 15,000
subtotal 231,000
plus: insurance 34,000
freight nd handling 26,000
chatel 32,000
total: 323,000
60 months: 28,000
48 months: 24,000
(*i thought 246k was all in i read it in sulit ads)
GLS:
price: 1,110,000
dp: 20% ->222,000
plus: insurance 31,000
freight and handling 26,000
chatel 31,000
total: 310,000
60 months: 22,200
48 months: 25,900
again akala ko ang 222k all in na, plus insurance freight at chatel pa pala. malaki pala ang cash out![]()

Dadz,
PM mo sa akin price ng piggyback for a 2.5L DID engine.
Tanong ko rin kung may piggyback ka para sa Ford 3.O TDCi
Thanks!
It seems that Doc Ooba99 has answered the question already and I do agree with him. Yes i have heard of handling charges at least outside Luzon. Yes, lets wait for what the others have to say. Lets also include fellow BOSB Tancho_Kuhaku too since Cebu, i must say is a distance as well!
From what I can recall when i looked at the price list of Honda Cars Cebu some years back, they were charging an extra 8k-10k for the shipping since the cars come from the Sta Rosa Plant. Same goes perhaps with Mitsubishi. In the case of the Strada (and other Thailand derived models: Lancer 1.6 GLX/GLS, Grandis, Montero Sport), MMPC gets the trucks from the Batangas Port and hauls it via carrier to the Cainta plant to install local components and Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) then it is distributed to the dealers. In the case of Motorplaza, it is driven by a pullout driver (with extra care and attention) to a Stockyard somewhere in Manila and the Main Office in Calasiao for PDI, then to the Main Office for branch distribution on where it has been ordered so there is no need for any charge on our end.
It would be crazy for a pull-out driver to drive the truck from the Cainta plant all the way to Mindanao! hehehehe...
