The concept is the same DDI (Direct Diesel Injection) this is the 1st generation of common rail engine,if im not mistaken. they call it Fuel Rail feeding individual solenoid valves... on that era they also use high pressure injector capable of 1,000 bar or 15,000psi.. while the new DID Third-generation common rail diesels now feature piezoelectric injectors for increased precision, with fuel pressures up to 1,800 bars (26,000 psi). latest of mitsubishi common rail engine capable of 2,000 bars (29,000 psi)

DDi is not patented to mitsubishi, i think it was patented to isuzu, today DiD (common rail) is already patented to mitsubishi diesel...

please correct me if im wrong to this..

    MAXIM... ok !

provincial members? count me in- waiting for the response of the rest of the Baguio BOSBs. im just making sure no one will twist my requested work schedule before im sure of putting my name on the list sa kabilang thread. hehehehe

    ====================

*alainroyce, thanks for the info. im may not be too particular with the values but i did recall that MMC mentioned solenoid valves and piezoelectric injectors in the past. i forgot the website or themagazine article, though... Mitsubishi Thailand measures the pressure of fuel by mPa- mega pascals that have took some time (AFAIK) to be adjusted for our fuel.

additional info: Mitsubishi's first Direct Injection Diesel Engine:

    thanks

jeta-1, i was thinking about ralliart mags ng pajero. do you have pics? also, if you don't mind, how much did it cost you? i have this nagging feeling na bitin yung tires ko (stock ng 3.2) especially after having a sport lid installed.

    Skippy,

20k set of four, very good condition, sinwerte (?) lang ata ako at magpapalit din ng mags ung may ari. Exakto lang talaga ung 265/75/r16, you can't go any thicker than a 75 or else sasayad na sa inner portion ng mudguard during a full deflection. The 265 looks a lil bit bitin kc kumapal ung goma in a 75. Your 3.2 should have no problems handling a tire a bit wider than a 265 since my 2.5 is doing well naman. Sa warranty lang siguro may issues since I've read before na hanggang 265 lang ata tayo for the suspension warranty to hold. I'll post pictures soon.

    Pol,

Nope. It's the six spoke gun metal color mags with a shinny hub cap (mahal na madaling nakawin).

Again, anybody who can point me to a shop or to somebody who sells rear fog lamps yung kulay red and white yung bilog? TIA

hi jet, thanks for the reply! eager to see your photos

guys, my rear left panel got hit by a freakin' motorbike. dent + scratch.

    my dilemma is:

    1) paintless dent repair - fixes the dent but leaves the scratch in there. advantage is that i get to maintain orig paint. of course, i'll have to live with that 4 inch line for the rest of my life

    2) have it repainted through mitsu (no idea yet how much or how long) but risk having an uneven finish since it's not factory paint anymore.

my friend tells that it should be ok to have it repainted kasi bago pa naman daw. hahabol pa yung pintura sa original.

i asked a shop for a quote. around 6K for the panel.

also, would that mean that they'd have to take the lid out pati yung motor niya? i wonder if they know how to put it back. well, at any rate, pwede naman ipaayos sa carryboy yung reinstallation, if ever it gets botched.

    hoping for inputs.

pasensya na kayo. dami ko na nakuha sa forum na mga tips pero di pako nakakaattend ng eb!!! one of these days... hassle lang talaga sked

guys, a big thank you talaga for this forum

For scratches..for me..touch up paint na lang to cover up the deep scratches para di pagmulan ng kalawang later. I would like to keep the original paint intact kahit na madami na gasgas. Iba kasi ang original paint compared sa repainted na.

Think of it as battle scars...thats nice to have in trucks...it adds character.

yessir... it took some time before this add on got in to their website that was available since late last year:

    brochure:

*DavaoSteve, the tires size have been changed to this size since the start of 2008. Yes, actually your are not the only one who commented about this since some of the other owners upgraded their tires after their purchase.

Wow, those are nice looking lids. I hope that those 'dual-lids' are available and can be purchased directly from carryboy.

I hope darating na un facelift ng strada dis year and rugged muscle look sana un

i think the facelift strada will not be available any sooner, not for a long time. MMC will have to get rid first of those current models, otherwise wala ng bibili nito.

    *tk, hi there bro...
it depends if the dealer can get it for you. i think winterpine is providing the audio remote as well as the head unit... but we have to take note that this is for the JVC (GLS Sport and GLS). considering that you have the you have the Alpine model (GLX), it may be different. i presume you still have the stock head unit, do you?

*silverend, its all up to MMPC if they will get the facelifted unit for us. take note, as of now, i havent seen any other country with the facelifted design yet. in addition to that, part of the model lineup of thailand only has the facelift- namely the Triton PLUS 4x2s. ---IMO---
